I don't know what the fuck is wrong with this guy, he is completely fixated on the fact of not increasing the number of games that a team plays in the entire season even if they don't qualify for internationals at all, he's like we are going to increase the season next year to being in Jan and end in sept/oct but says the current no of vct matches are enough, so then what r u planning to do with the extra months give more break time and mid season breaks huh??, dumbass guy , also even if u look at GenG and that if they manage to make finals of champs even then a team like them will only still played less than 50 matches entirely, while I have heard in cs , teams play like 10 matches in 3 weeks, and even if u take a look at LOL team on average that make internationals play like what 80-90 games , even T1 last year played 155 games , bruh this guy is serious dumb fuck

It's actually the opposite I'd argue, there's so little Valorant that we have to watch MIBR or FURIA because that might be 50% of the schedule for the week (if you only watch Americas) so it's either that or nothing. On the other hand, if we had way more matches we could be selective and be ok with skipping the uninteresting games given we'd know better games would come up soon.
You're dumb as fuck. Riot literally wants you not to just watch tier 1 and support lower tiers too thats why theres a fixed amount of vct matches. You have pros complaining for having too many matches and for having not enough because they fucking suck. Dont ever sympathize to those pro who have minimum matches when they're getting paid 10k minimum, its their fucking job to win matches else they're just a fucking check stealer and dont even maximize their brand by streaming or doing content for their org. Thats the reason why vct dont overlap to vcl in schedule. Its getting redundant with these types of complaint "matches are not enough" when it has enough content to watch for the whole year. Theres literally vct, vcl, ascension, collegiate, gc and off-season. Just to give in perspective in 2023 LOL has 207 total tournaments, CS has 740 tournaments and valorant has 601 tournaments. You're literally the type of person that wants to incentivze the tier 2 but dont want to watch their matches when whole system is built to not divide viewers away from tier 1 and tier 2.
At the end of the day that just depends on how many people want to watch party Challengers. Sliggy and Sean Gares are already doing quite a bit of watch partying, but that's a minority of the fans. Most people watch the big streamers: Tarik, TenZ, s0m, FNS, etc. It's up to them to start watch partying Ascension and tier 2 in general
Dude it's not ONLY my complaint that T1 has less matches , when riot announced that tho there will be two stages in 2024 for the region leagues there will still only be 11 matches in total and matches aren't going to be increased, a lot of pros expressed disappointment (from Americas u can see tweets of them) so yeah it's not just my problem
the obvious counter to this is that 95+% of pros say they dont play enough in valorant
ofc if they triple the game count some people will complain but i honestly believe if they double the number in the extra few months they get by shortening off season a vast majority of pros will be fine with that
leo def is not running the scene in the most optimal way but the format was always gonna be shit this year we have 11 teams in each region and the off season at least will be filled with tournaments this year and will be shorter next year. we will never have a format this bad in valorant ever again. and the matches complaint is so dumb they know pros want to play more matches but they prioritize viewership and take the approach if you want to play more matches win games. if you disagree with how he views it that is totally fine but realistically the amount of games is fine for the way he views it and we will have more games next year anyway.
Fair enough, I just think that were at the point now where even if pros play 10 games per tournament, the viewership would still be stable just because of the popularity it gained over the years. I would still despise the format guy because everyone right now got backshotted diddy style from the format that was instilled and no one will be able to take that back.
bro are you retarded? do you want to watch mibr or tec or koi or bleed play 100 matches a year? the answer is no. riot is a business and they prioritize viewership and viewing experience more than pros not getting the amount of matches they would prefer. if you want to play more matches the org should fund a better roster or you should put more time in so you can win games. its not like this format makes it so teams cant improve g2 is a great example. plus next year there will be more games because regional playoffs will have 8 teams and regular season everyone will play 1 more game. so realistically if you take a c9 this year they will be playing around 20 matches which really is reasonable for a team who doesnt make a single lan or win games in playoffs in my eyes.
Mate look at LOL , and CS2 teams play a hecking lot more in normal matches and I am talking about those teams that ain't good enough to make international tournaments. Yes indeed riot is a business but listen this kind of format where a team that doesn't make internationals play only like 10 matches a year allows no room for improvement or stuff dude, no person would like to opt for a career in Valorant unless they are demon1 level cracked then , cause they would know that they would be dropped midseason if they play bad in like what 3-4 matches only which sounds insane if u think about that fact independently and that the format doesn't give them enough games to improve upon their game on the big stage
while agree that vct need a few more matches into the regular season, how bout u wait and see what the changes to the 2025 season might be before blowing up about statements made like half a year ago when they're known to make changes often if certain aspects are not being well received? and comparing it to the schedules of other games is literally so stupid when there are too many differing factors that contribute to why it wouldn't work for val
