I agree with you as of now.

If Wo0t CARRIED (crazy performances on all series/maps) Heretics to a champs win I think he gets it.

I think players like OXY or primmie could also get it if they hard carried their team to a champs win, but on the season as a whole I do not think they hold a flame to Karon.

karon is a straight up ranked player johnqt is the ascension runner up while he has had a great year missing a masters while karon has 2nd 1st meaning 1.5 avg placement (still good if we include regionals) on top of the no experience buff being a ranked player is too much if johnqt double wins he might have a chance but imo zero exp buff takes it over 2 trophies

He’s not wrong tho johnqt is a rookie for tier 1 valorant. Using the example of demon1 he was still considered a rookie despite having played in matches before. You saying tier 2 is considered professional valorant while lots of teams are just FA teams (the best NA tier 2 team was a FA team until recently). Using that example of what you said people who play in college sports and go into pro sports wouldn’t be considered rookies of that sport. That entire argument is just dumb.

Doesn't matter. The general definition of "rookie" contradicts the concept of Tier1 and Tier2. Even if God were to say otherwise, logically when using the word "rookie" with no context like the concepts you stated above then the General Concept that most people use and the ones you don't will be prioritized.
