Explain the Sage part. The reason you want trip sentinels is because B is hard as shit to hold and mid is one giant lurk zone. Cypher or even Deadlock are better for that purpose. And if you want site retake or post plant support, Breach could be a better gimmick pick.
Also, if double controller is picked, it'd probably be with Harbor and not Viper. Her wall is too inflexible for this map and the one orb won't do shit.
viper is op on this map there are two bind type walls. 1 in mid for constant lurk pressure and 1 on A site for scaling up without making sound. i fully understand why you would think info sentinels would be good on abyss but the only defensive piece of utility that can hold all of mid is kj turret and the both turrets have viper smoke lineups to enable your lurk. so viper just puts major gaps in your defensive hold which is way more valuable than harbor. as for sage > info senti, sage wall is the most valuable piece of utility you can have on this map when both bombsites the ideal post plant is playing to spam from off site plus its a huge map and sage has great defensive stall which just gives you more time on your retake. as for attack you play it like you would sunset or icebox the wall is huge for getting the ideal plant on b site and the slows are big for delaying the flood. overall the gain you get from sage over info senti on defense is huge plus just putting a sova in mid after he gets yoru awp set up is just more reliable than a turret and lets him fast rotate to whatever site the hit is coming through on
sage is too good on this map to play a cypher and i agree retakes are very important which is why sage is so good the wall will solo win you rounds and as long as you can reliably retake with sova dart, yoru flashes, and astra util this comp is insane on defense and attack. if you cant i would swap the astra for omen but the defensive stall and post plants clear the double initiator comps which i think are also just as important as the retakes
i agree jett is stronger than yoru on abyss but he fits into the comp better and fills gaps plus there is still a lot you can gain from yoru. no flashes on abyss is troll yoru is the best duelist with flashes. and abyss doesnt have hard choke points to break out of so i really dont think there is a need for a jett. plus once your awp is spotted on defense you can just run away from it and they cant out rotate you but with yoru you can instantly reposition. also acting like yoru tp on defense is a pisstake even the biggest yoru hater would admit its great for defense just look at breeze. also another reason why yoru is great is because teams seem to be leaning towards cypher and yoru is the best duelist to counter cypher. also upvoting yourself is shameless.
