The main issue I guess is if the player has ADHD and need it, but they could probably have a medical exemption.

Modafinil is a drug used to improve focus and helps you to stay awake.
It´s is used a lot by medical residents.
i´d be surprised if it´s not being used in e-sports, it´s legal and it can´t even be counted as "doping"
No way this isn't standard practice at vct, I know for a fact ESL tests their dota and cs pros for substances

Riot would need you to pay a hefty fine, or worse, banned from the e-sport depending on how much Riot punishes drug users.
It is not a viable option for anyone seeking a career in e-sports.
I bet many many many NA players use stuff like adderall, europeans otherwise use zyn or stuff like that
