I don't understand why some are calling us this?
MaKo and Flashback are both undoubtedly world-class in their respective roles.
HYUNMIN had near 1.5 VLR rating across 30 maps on both Jett and Raze when we signed him.
free1ng was by far the best player at China Ascension, with crazy ACS for a sentinel.
Yes, Athan seemed like a budget pick from the academy but now that BeYN is back, there can be no debate. Also, we have always had a young squad.

Of course, this doesn't guarantee any great results for 2025. We still have a plethora of possible issues, ranging from roles to lack of time. However, a lackluster squad isn't one of them. This is the most raw firepower we have ever had!

developing some of the greatest korean talent and then giving them to t1 doesnt sound like the best idea to me or something they wanted to do. this is like fnatic giving up derke to pick up kaajak. sure the players drx picked up have potential but its just a downgrade on paper and i guarantee you all of these players are on minimum or close to minimum salary.

Although I don't like the changes DRX has made (I just really liked their old players), they excel at talent development, they've proven themselves in that aspect time and time again.

Yeah just like last season, they had some struggles at the start of the year that costed them attending Madrid and Shanghai but were able to pick up the pace at the end. Hopefully this year isn't the case and are able to play at 100% all year.

GenG strong map pool + peri signing
PRX got fracture and Split + jinggg/something agent pool improvement
T1 looking very promising

These 3 teams should take bangkok/toronto international spot, but Split 2 DRX should have improve enough to take last slot for champs.

It's being called that cause like rhy have made so many fucking changes to in the past year like I tbh don't know why they dropped buzz , hyummin was good but it's unproven but maybe they wanted young talent . Beyn is a good pick but it's too late to be done tbh, Mako goated pick no debate, free1ng a good pic again, flashback was great as well. It's mostly because like the orginal DRX has only mako left that's why people are saying this

people are still reminiscing old drx when they didn't manage to win a trophy over teams like fpx
their changes in 2024 were good it's just unfortunate flashback couldn't play mid season also personally i wouldve preferred beyn over foxy in the starting lineup of 2024 but it is what it is

Vast majority of people are expecting either T1 or PRX to be Pacific's #1 team this year. I've seen more hype for Nongshim than I have for DRX. I think there's just not a lot of faith in this roster right now.
