I've seen way to many people say that "High Elo" doesn't start until immortal 3. Obviously its subjective and what not, but keep in mind, Diamond is still top 10% of the game and Ascendant is like top 2.5% or something like that. If you want to go off of where pros are playing and what not, sure Immo 3 is high elo and the rest is below. But some 80 or 85% of the game has never hit platinum. High elo doesn't just mean the top 20% of the game split from the rest and then ranked. I would say Diamond is where it technically classifies as High Elo. Put Diamonds and Radiants against Irons and it won't really make a difference to the irons, despite the radiants would roll diamonds versus each other. Then, VALORANTs MMR system is so scuffed that there are people in Immortal who play against low to mid diamonds, and there are people in Ascendant that are queueing against High immortals and even Radiants.
Let me know what y'all think, I feel like this debate needs to be settled
