people don’t seem to understand qck doesn’t have to be aspas. he’s a different player and he can fit the team even better. he can play as flex, which can make the team more comfortable. not to mention he hasn’t hit his potential and he’s gonna get way better by gaining the experience from his teammates

that being said, quick’s flexibility is BETTER for LOUD’s principles and practices of innovating and setting the meta. give him some time and there is a chance LOUD will become even more solid than they were in 2023. don’t forget tuyz and cauanzin have evolved and become better than their LOCK//IN version.

and this is not to belittle aspas, he is a demon, the best duelist IMO, but i don’t think he was ever LOUD’s key player. Saadhak and Less were.

A new flex is perfect for Loud. I always see them stuck with a few agents, and only Saadhak changes roles. Aspas was a mono Jett for most of the year, and Less just played Viper and Killjoy the whole season. Saadhak has a limited range, his duelist is weak and his best agents are Kay/o and Viper. Qck probably will not be the fixed duelist, but he's the new OP. We could see Tuyz or Cauan on duelist some maps.

Saadhak promised that he's cooking for the next season with their new coach. I'm afraid because some comps they picked on Champions were really weird (the Ascent and Pearl ones that were both discarded mid-tournament).

I think Saadhak will create a system which works well with qck however I still think the roster will be weaker than if aspas was still playing.

2024 might actually be better year for the team due to the fact that tuyz and cauanzin have gained T1 experience.
Just compare cauanzin from Lock//in to Champs... he has grown into a top player.

I think the impact will be comparable to what happened with NRG. They lost their star duelist who singlehandedly won them a lot of rounds by hero plays. Even when they tried replacing yay with another star player ardiis it wasnt able to keep the same results. NRG went from top 1 NA/Top 2 Americas. To a top 4 Americas team

it’s not comparable and aspas’ was never LOUD’s key player. yay was undoubtedly OpTic’s key player, they heavily depended on him. also tuyz and cauanzin gradually evolved and they’re different players after champions, way more confident. Less is arguably the best player itw, Saadhak is the best IGL itw. you don’t dare compare this LOUD to NRG

Literally every player to join LOUD wasn’t oN Louds level. Louds level IS SAADHAK. All the players had their performances vastly improved when joining Loud, the only ones who didn’t were Sacy and Saadhak. I mean look at Pancada, he is not playing up to his 2022 level BECAUSE there is no Saadhak.
Saadhak is like a plus 10 performance bonus to all players in his team

Honestly, I think that Cauazin and Tuyz will be more comfortable in their roles, so just from that part the team will be better, and the fact that they will not have to deal with moving to a new country and facing the problems they faced last year will make the year less stressfull... so yeah, Aspas is a beast, but I think que team will be fine without him.

finally someone with a reasonable take. aspas is freaking good, but LOUD knew how to set him up so he could get the kills. there were also matches he would disappear but players like Less and cauanzin would carry (in terms of kills, but ofc not every contribution is easy to notice, like tuyz’s high kast and Saadhak’s or even Less’ calling)

even if they get txozin on duelist they´ll always be competitive with cauanzin less and saadhak, even tuyz improved a lot so i dont think qck will be bad, maybe he wasnt the greatest player of all time on furia but he is solid and he has always played duelist fine on ranked (i know its not the same as pro play but its good to see him comfortable on it rather than forcing him to swap from zero)

"they were already struggling with aspas" bro don't act like loud wouldn't have won champions if they hadn't gone to lower bracket, they should have never have lost that Lotus to PRX and their lower run was the hardest in VLR history so far, i remember the guys were trying not to fall asleep on semifinals against EG, they would have no chance against a full aware LOUD. no wonder LOUD were the only team that were able beat FNATIC. had FNATIC been lucky enough to not face LOUD, they would've won champs instead for sure. i would say EG's run was a fluke, but Acend's was worse (they still live inside Vivo Keyd's pocket)
