didn't watch it at all last year, only game i cared about was League and as my streamer didn't stream it, i didnt watch it
felt like it meant literally nothing in the year, only difference was we got a gap of no lck for a little bit, and it was an event that people cared less about than even their regional titles

nah the tournament has a ton of money thrown into it but the actual level of competition is literally nothing
EDIT: looking at the CS wc tho it seems like theyre commited to inviting the top teams but then again when the players dont really care about winning the tournament then the level of play will never exceed a set amount.
IT needs to be viewed as a prestigious tournament which currently it really isnt with the way its being held
