in terms of stats no, mako 1.13 (1.11 kd) vs f0rsaken 0.98 (1.06 kd). prx's best player in this regard was mindfreak at 1.12
imo a lot of PRX's success this event was based on Benkai's igling even though f0rsaken/j0nggg were flashy

wait reykjavik shld be forsaken too no?

#41
Hynix

this one isn't even a question

mako was highest rated player at reykjavik 1.3 rating AND kd
drx beat prx where mako went +20 1.44 AND +17 against f0rsaken h2h (f0rsaken killed him 2 times in 3 maps)
they were both eliminated by ZETA fraud run but DRX almost beat OPTIC (who won)

cPoop is a washed bot who lost to vivo keyd and should have been eliminated, nAts went +31 on his ass in that final. Ac0nd are the definition of fluke

There's no way you don't have one of the PRX players as best APAC player for 2023

#16

i think mako and d4v4i are like 50/50 for that
rmember that mako dominated lock//in and was drx only standout player for the rest of the season with 5/6 at champs

yeah, mako is goated when not forced to IGL. I was really thinking of Davai. Forsaken would be there as well, but he just has really bad GF performances when PRX loses a GF that tanks his overall stats

I wanted to pick Something but MaKo played more tournments and was too consistent through the year, out of the pacific players being 1st at lock//in, 3rd at Pacific (behind Something and Davai), 2nd at Tokyo (behind my GOAT Rb), and 4th at Champs (behind Sayaplayer, Davai, and Something)-

#22

esp considering mako had a higher rating playing double the rounds

I guess that's fair, but I still feel Davai deserves more love

who would you put instead? I really struggled with 2024 EMEA since Leo got pregnant mid season, derke was shit in the beginning, Miniboo was inconsistent, and Trexx only played 1 intl. Only other person I considered was Riens but Woots Shanghai was so amazing that it beat him out for me

RieNs clear as day was better, he is the best emea player currently.
Shanghai was not all that, RieNs has easily more impact and util is perfect, w00t just throws his util, he should learn from RieNs.

Less couldn't win as the best sentinel in Americas in 2023 imagine being the BEST PLAYER, only one player from Brazil has the MVP Award from Riot and the Best of his role too and you know who that is.

manifesting right now-termi cuts mako after DRX dont qual for any masters and get 5/6th at champs
Mako joins T1 to play smokes
Rb joins T1 to play initator

T1 3 peats and rivals LoL T1 for being the most dominate in their esport
