How do you guys do it? Do you just jump straight to a sens or do you graduate work up to it? Also what's ur preferred sens as in slow/med/high?

I played on 0.35 for like 3 years then swapped to 0.3 in one go (800dpi) it took like 2-3 days to get used to but I hit my peak rank again within a month

I've been having 0.2 800 since champs 2023 (bc of demon1) and I'm getting annoyed from it since little mousepad and I tried 0.4 and it feels impossible. Currently on 0.3.

I don't change sens, at least not more than once every few months by a small increment. I've been using 0.5 @ 800 DPI since May

I figure out what approximate sens I want to get, overshoot it slightly, play a few dm sessions with it and then set into the sens I wanted initially. Either I A) hit the perfect sens by overshooting the sens B)will hit the sens I wanted by just going closer and closer towards my designated sens. I guess I am more of a high sens player ( at least in CS, there I have pretty much the s1mple sens)

I've kept 0.4 800 DPI for like two years now, and changing it a bit to say 0.45 or 0.35 feels REALLY weird to me. I think I can get used to it, as I occasionally use double my sens for practice, but it's really weird using something else.

Note I have a small area for my mouse, and I have a more flicky aim style tho

If you aim train then changing sens is not a problem

Gradually work up to it. I wanted to swap to a higher sens for a while, and I was at 0.2, but I knew that sens was too low for me to win the duels I might need to win in higher elos, since turning is so slow. So, over a year, I went from 0.2 >>> 0.22 >>> 0.25 >>> 0.26 >>> 0.3, to find the lowest possible sens I knew I could play on without sacrificing 180'ing for a duel. As I got better at handling higher senses, I went higher, and I could have swapped to 0.3 at any time, but I decided against it, since I found I was playing fine without swapping to a higher sens. When I felt stuck where I was and couldn't improve, I move higher and I start trying to aim a little bit faster and a little bit more accurately, and though I don't recommend waiting so long to make the swap like I did (making all those changes over the course of a few days would do fine), I can say it does give results. My preferred sens is very slow, but I need to get out of my comfort zone and play on a higher sens to make the adjustments I felt I needed to. But low-ish is where I sit because as much as I want to go super slow, I know i'm not going to improve for shit if I crutch a super low sens, and i'll plateau at ranks i'd wish to be better than if I didn't swap.

you need to hit sm aim training first tho, it kinda mess up ur aim cuz because the sens are kinda same you use it with no problem at first but time passes and it starting to miss. worse then changing big like .135 to .16
