I recently saw Bren complain that this guy only plays for stats and there's no fire or passion in him at the moment and even looking at 2022 vlr stats it doesn't seem like he was extremely monumental or something, and since I started vct from 2023 I don't know and we can agree he was definitely super goated in 2023 and even in 2024 he's shown his good side a lot of times but this performance isn't even close to his 2023 performance, pls can actually explain to me why he was getting called as the goat, cause it definitely seems to be more than just stats for him to be called that

because most of the time he goes very deep in them (of the 8 tourneys hes been in hes been in the top 3 5 times) most of the time the top stats are players who got grouped/arent duelists because duelists take more fights that are risky/put their life on the line more than everyone else

I mean can't deny that Lev looks like a very highly manufactured super team that failed to do much good , like stage 2 was good and a top 3 at Champs is definitely good but they were capable of more, teams that look more cohesive and have more emotional connect together always seem to be better, take sen, GenG, heretics for example and then see met 2024 as well how bad they were. Lev to me never felt like a team

Tex and Mazino were arguably better than Aspas after Stage 1, their impact was crazy. Com was the weak link in an otherwise strong team supporting team.

Did you saw the VCT Americas 2024? Aspas literally was like two step ahead of the others. Wasn't close at all. But in the champions he couldn't maintain the pace, and people start doubt about him.

Some of the most conceited players in valorant praise aspas as one of the all-time greatests in the game. That's all you need to know. His consistency is nutty, he rarely drops stinkers and he's been having solo carry games here and there for years. The only name who was up there in the conversation for one of the strongest duelists in the game in every year since this game began.

Bren is disgustingly biased towards NA players, which is pretty weird considering he isnt even from NA.
No matter how they played, the narrative this champs, in his head, would always be about how: aspas stats are inflated, and c0m was the true impact player that had a great bounceback

He has the best consistency of any player ever. Top rating for the full year by a decent amount. Pretty sure he was for last year as well.
