Some of what you say is true, but to be fair, alot of people root for Japanese teams because the players and the fans are the least problematic out of all regions. That's all there is to it.
At least half of NA, EMEA, APAC fans are cunts (maybe 75% for NA 8-) ). The players talk alot of shit too. But you don't really see that from Japanese players / fans. So of course people like and want them to do well.

I get your point, but I think that mostly has to do with the language barrier because most Japanese people and fans don't speak English, so you don't really see anything of the bad stuff when it happens. Japan has been known to have one of the most toxic idols and celebrity cultures in the world, although I don't speak Japanese, I'm sure there is a lot of really toxic criticism from Japanese fans that we don't see. As I said, there are probably still a lot of cunts within Japanese esports (players and fans) and we just don't see them, as an example, I present Fisker lol.

I understand Japanese and usually read chat in Japan channel I would say yes there are some toxic chat from Japanese but compare to other region channels japan is the nicest lol especially when you compare with SEA channel you will see the huge different haha
