but I think CoD has come back a lot especially this past year because of OpTic just carrying the viewership

they only have two esports teams right now in CoD and Halo,

their CoD team just won a major and Worlds this year

their Halo team is top 4 and is competing in a major right now to lock in grand finals

I think the debate between the Top 3 this year is between SEN, GenG, and TH and there's solid arguments for each of them.

SEN won Madrid but failed to qualify to Shanghai, in their champs run they only lost to GenG who they rematched and 2-0ed and the two grand finalists.

GenG have been in every final this year in their region and internationally until champs where they get grouped, they won 3 of the 5 finals they played.

TH played with a super sub in both Madrid and Shanghai, bombed out of Madrid groups but are now in back to back finals in two events (the only teams who have done that are EG, Gambit, and GenG).

Depending on the result of the final imo TH would be the best team this year if they won, if EDG win it's much closer of an argument between these three teams.

SEN seem to struggle a lot against teams that have an extremely hard lurk IGL facilitating half of the map on their own. (Boostio and Munchkin).

They also tend to over rotate or easily give up space for the other team to re aggress and end up winning the round with kills or information

beating the bottom three teams in the league is not a victory for Ethan as an IGL

FNS t side calling is infinitely better than Ethan's and he admitted it himself.

These past games against SEN, C9, and KRU were the best they've looked all year even if the results don't speak for it.

for example they 9-3 C9 on the attack half of ascent, something the split 1 NRG never could have done.
