i personally think all of them are good and deserve a chance

Halo for sure is suffering hard in its 3rd year
but I think CoD has come back a lot especially this past year because of OpTic just carrying the viewership
they only have two esports teams right now in CoD and Halo,
their CoD team just won a major and Worlds this year
their Halo team is top 4 and is competing in a major right now to lock in grand finals
I think the debate between the Top 3 this year is between SEN, GenG, and TH and there's solid arguments for each of them.
SEN won Madrid but failed to qualify to Shanghai, in their champs run they only lost to GenG who they rematched and 2-0ed and the two grand finalists.
GenG have been in every final this year in their region and internationally until champs where they get grouped, they won 3 of the 5 finals they played.
TH played with a super sub in both Madrid and Shanghai, bombed out of Madrid groups but are now in back to back finals in two events (the only teams who have done that are EG, Gambit, and GenG).
Depending on the result of the final imo TH would be the best team this year if they won, if EDG win it's much closer of an argument between these three teams.
Edit: GenG were also in back to back
why not have flyquest just pick up the team that makes it to ascension.
They did that pretty recently with a CS team after Greyhounds died,
riot would probably let them in too considering their relationship

GenG for sure one of my favorite teams this year, been a big Meteor fan since NTH, rest of the team is goated as well
SEN seem to struggle a lot against teams that have an extremely hard lurk IGL facilitating half of the map on their own. (Boostio and Munchkin).
They also tend to over rotate or easily give up space for the other team to re aggress and end up winning the round with kills or information
both snap tap and the new wooting stuff have already been used in CS and are still allowed by ESL and other organizers tho

beating the bottom three teams in the league is not a victory for Ethan as an IGL
FNS t side calling is infinitely better than Ethan's and he admitted it himself.
These past games against SEN, C9, and KRU were the best they've looked all year even if the results don't speak for it.
for example they 9-3 C9 on the attack half of ascent, something the split 1 NRG never could have done.
no they weren't look at their T sides compared to now, they only beat the Brazilian teams all of last split
Ethan himself admitted he never wanted to be an IGL ever again
adding FNS back gave them the smallest glimmer of hope
I actually think this year is more on Chet and Ethan thinking he would be good enough to lead as an IGL and he wasn't, total failure on both CT and T sides
it also doesnt help when your coach is looking for opportunities in another game while split 2 is just starting.
