That goes for most teams, in all types of sports. But you don't take such a big strategic decision for only a couple months of no play, which you already knew off months ago. Assume it has something to do with not being invited to franchise (= the real money maker)

i think i’m agreeing with you. they didn’t cut the roster because they wouldn’t play for months, they cut the roster because they had proven incapable of competing at a Tier 1 level. And that wasn’t going to change.

Looks whos talking with the TSM flair at least Pioneer went to the Finals of the Open Qualifiers and lost to Luminousity unlike TSM who just got out in Round 4 against BBG. So ye maybe not be so negative. Also its not your fault, bc u are just some random 13 yr old who knows nothing abt real life and honestly all the players are better than you so I dont see ya talking there. God, its a pain to see how immature the VALORANT community is at times.

My flair doesn't matter when speaking about another team, so your comparisons are null. KCP clearly wasn't getting anywhere, and they lost their only Tier 1 player in jcStani. I'm also 21 with a degree, job, car, and gf. But I'm not here to bring you down, so have a good day and don't rant at other people's opinions.

First off, Anyone asked ya abt ur life and possessions and despite u might be 21 bbbut the fact is no one cares what u have but we know what u lack known as a brain. I dont wanna argue and the second point, doesnt it pain ya to see TSM underperforming even with a Tier1 roster? At least have some shame and stay shut when u realise others are better than ya.. 20-24 best NA teams who didn't qualify for VCT (half - invited by results, half - open quals)
Swiss format (10-12 rounds Bo3, teams play against those who have similar score, no set schedule)
5 weeks, Monday-Thursday (4 days every week), in total 20 game days, more than enough time to do all these swiss matches
Best games are broadcasted on NSG caster-less streams

Top-8 from this mickey mouse league advance to playoffs, 1st goes to next split VCT, 2nd-5th and bottom-4 of VCT play against each other to determine top-3 who also go to next split VCT

I wonder why they didn't do this
Now orgs leave and they are like "WHY???"

Scene is overmatured that is the problem. Might sound good that a lot of orgs are in the scene. But the way riot runs tournaments. They play like every few months and with that many orgs its hard to make money causing them to leave.

Is there a former player-coach that is doing well these days? It seems like a lot of orgs have gone for the cs 1.6 super stars only to be disappointed. I feel like at this point we've proven the skills are not transferrable.

I think it works in other sports because the systems stay the same and the level of critical thinking for roles in the pros is high level. But I'm starting to think that the player pool was small and the people who succeeded, while they were the best in their field, didn't have to establish their dominance through knowledge but individual mechanical skill. I think were at the point where those two are definitely mutually exclusive and maybe we start leaning more towards critical thinkers instead of legends from a time before.

I don’t think so. Not only do you have the current 12 teams, but you also need to beat TSM, Akrew, Ghost, GenG, Andbox, Renegades, Sonqs
