actually funniest shit I’ve seen on this site. not saying the accusations are wrong but people really just be looking for anything to slander Korea

SEA fans in particular jump on anything to try to push their ‘golden child’ narrative acting like Riot hasn’t always given them more slots both pre and post franchising
then when a KR team wins a Masters it’s all about this ‘unified’ Pacific and them all pushing each other to succeed but when KR is bad SEA fans go rabid (source: reactions to 3 KR slots at the start of franchising)

Korea was better than SEA overall in 2023 too. VS were the best Asian team in 2020. 2021 and 2022 are debatable which region is better. SEA has never been definitively better than Korea

in 2020 Vision Strikers won every tournament they went to (which was basically Korean domestics and Asian tournaments, where they beat SMG which was the best SEA team at the time, Absolute JUPITER the best JP team, and RNG the best Chinese team)
2021 Nuturn had the highest placement of any Asian team at an international (3rd at M2 Reykjavik)
2022 DRX had the highest placement of any Asian team at Champs (3rd) and PRX had the highest placement at an international overall (2nd Copenhagen), but they were directly seeded into playoffs. The only time PRX had to make it through a group stage they got knocked out.

if you want to include prefranchising the argument is still in favour of or arguably strengthens Korea being the stronger overall representative for Asia LMFAO

And nuturn lost their best player lakia so makes sense full sense fluked a run and went straight back home at champs. Look you wanna call korean teams mid besides DRX/VS back then but that mid was still better than x10/TS considering korea only had 1 slot for a lot of the tournaments.
