There are plenty of good reasons to, in particular their holding players in contract jail after their champs win roster was pretty dreadful, and they've been holding back on the scene a lot since that too.

The issue with EWC is that it's likely different individuals that had the final decision. I completely agree with you on the intent of your points, but EWC is money, and GC is also sponsor money. It's essentially playing both sides. Yes, it sucks. But it's not surprising the suits of a company would be fine with this clash even though I can't imagine GC staff themselves are too happy.
As someone who was here when the thread originally took off, the mods have absolutely cleaned up the thread since.
In particular, a number of accounts, including from memory, the account "Pistolroundvyseult" were contributing to significant attacks in the manner you described, and are now missing.
I imagine the thread, and #10 in particular, have survived because they are genuine expressions of sentiment that can and should discussed in a productive and meaningful manner. Much of this threat at the time of the Apeks game was not that.
I appreciate that the mods have gone to the effort of creating that environment instead of just nuking the entire thread.
you look at what rounds he wins and how reliant he is on setup from initiator and followup from usually the controller when he overextends and come back to me saying he's not tough to work around for a flash initiator main who can't keep up with his deep pacing from being back on a lineup.
It's not "cursed", Zekken's entry is just difficult to work around, doubly so without Tenz's pacing to follow him.

It was, aside from both Waylay getting playtime diffed by non-waylay comps, a good two-sided game between teams who had solid gameplans.
APAC and then EMEA definitely have the closest games right now. America's feels almost pre-decided and China is just utter chaos.
