Trash at valorant?
Why do people always do current year - year it happened. You can’t do that when it’s literally 3 months into 2025. More accurate: EMEA didn't win anything last season.
Edit: also EMEA was more relevant last year than NA and PAC lol
wait that’s the most hereshits brainrotted take i’ve ever heard lmao even if emea wasn’t a one team region last year losing 2 grand finals ABSOLUTELY does not make you more relevant than a team who makes one and wins it are you insane
No, it’s just facts. All the teams that won a masters last year became irrelevant afterwards.
Fact: Champions is the biggest Valorant event of the year.
Fact: All Americas teams got eliminated by EMEA teams.
2 grand finals (including champions) >>>>> winning that first masters.
Bad take. Nobody in their right mind would rather reach grand finals than win a master
I’m not talking about what the players prefer. I’m talking about relevancy. SEN and GENG and those regions as a whole were not as Relevant as TH and EMEA as a whole. They were obviously still relevant. Just because one is above the other doesn’t mean they’re irrelevant or bad. But the thread is about EMEA being “trash” which they are not.
And as far as regions go last year it was CN>EMEA>AMER>PAC.
Because that’s what happened in the biggest tournament of the year. And I personally do think some teams would be happier getting to the grand finals of champions over winning a masters trophy. Especially if you go out in the group stage of Champions and barely get to play. Just my opinion tho.
you are genuinely retarded i’m not even going to argue with you have a nice day tho
champs grand finals 2nd place money > both masters trophy winner money
And? still got two international finals in a row, yes, they didn't win, but it's still decent.
G2 just did the same by losing to APAC in the finals.
is that why tenz was mid af in cs and won an international event in val?
This argument is dogshit, why did Stewie2k win a CS tourney with G2 but stayed in T2 Val ?
g2 would have won that event regardless (due to Monesy god form, you are talking as if stewie was top 1). meanwhile tenz was probably one of the most consistent performers for sen
stewie2k played val consistently for like 6 months and went straight to igling with a random mix team with semi retired pros lol
In CS there's no bs abilities to make up for your mistakes bro.
CS is harder.
exactly
valorant is inclusive to low skilled players (making it easier)
Exclude the first 4 events and its true
Exclude the first 2 years and then emea is still tied with Americas
cause EMEA always gets more internationals slots at CS. Imagine giving equal region international spots.
Equal region international spots is what made EDG and VCT CN half relevant btw
If VCT were to adopt a CS type system, Chinese teams would cease to exist from the start and only EDG would be a competitor
cs slots are decided based on last major's performance, asian scene will grow when it is good enough to grow
because to play CS2 you need to be disciplined, and EU is good at that.
Valorant requires discipline but also a ton of random bullshit
cause valo is insanely randomn and starts do mater but they can easily get overshadowed by indiidual plays. CS is a lot more disciplined and startegy based raterh than js shooting. they can make a difference but its not reliable. valorant is the exact opposite
val didn't distract the newer generation of gamers in eu. na cs lost all of their youth, russia lost players who would remain in tier 3 trash
Cuz 90% of the young talented FPS players in Europe are gonna be more interested in CS than Val
Because cs2 are only popular in Europe (mostly Eastern and Northern) so it is easy to dominate.
This is like asking why USA are the only good country at football(real football not soccer). It’s easy to be the best at something no one else is doing.
Yeah rest left because they couldn't compete. Only relevant country that didn't ever really care was South Korea and partly China and even then decent amount of the early Korean Valorant pros came from CS. For example both NA and BR has had many players and teams. Ofc nowadays issue is that you almost have to move to/spend most of your time in EU to compete in top CS.
EU put every 3 year old on a mouse and keyboard with cs installed to do a project donk and they do not do that for valorant except maybe in asia. cs culture just hella big in eu so they take all the prodigies to cs and not valorant
