The majority of the world doesn’t have a problem with calling someone by their legal name and the majority of the world would agree it’s disrespectful not to use their legal name. Even in countries that don’t agree with LGBT. However not every country agrees with LGBT. And it gets even harder for non-binary people and language barriers. For example someone having They/Them pronouns just wouldn’t make sense in other languages.

I mean, yes there is more Eastern Europe. But they are already in the East league. And technically it is still kinda separate because the qualifiers are divided into North and East and then they combine.

I think the only reason it got combined is because of issues with the organisers.

Like I said, depends on the meta, also depends on the style of the team, and the style of the IGL. If the 4 other players have complete trust in an IGL, their leadership and calls. You can essentially win a “4v5”. But it’s only a 4v5 in your eyes because you look at frags.

and a player like Sayf has shown that igling effects your fragging performance anyway. The necessity of an igl that frags heavy imo depends on two things:

1. The current meta
2. The talent of the other players and the strats the team as a whole cook up.

A really good igl can lead a team to victory. I think Nats being able to frag more suggests that he either doesn't IGL as much as Boaster does (Theres clips of Boaster literally micromanaging the team, which I think he's trying to stop doing) and they have another good player that can help mid round.

Which I think boaster has shown he's capable of fragging if he can focus on it.

Getting rid of Boaster for Shao isn’t worth it. No evidence to suggest Leo is a better igl. And Boaster is always underrated. Current FNC with Leo instead of crashies would be a super team.

They were obviously still relevant. Just because one is above the other doesn’t mean they’re irrelevant or bad. But the thread is about EMEA being “trash” which they are not.

And as far as regions go last year it was CN>EMEA>AMER>PAC.

Because that’s what happened in the biggest tournament of the year. And I personally do think some teams would be happier getting to the grand finals of champions over winning a masters trophy. Especially if you go out in the group stage of Champions and barely get to play. Just my opinion tho.
