BuZz was DRX’s best player for like a month total in his entire 3 year tenure with the team.
btw it's crazy how back then DRX/VS getting 5-6th was a bad thing because they were chokers but now getting 5-6th is considered something great how far the standards have fallen for this team </3
He's definitely has potential to be a great player but I think from what we saw during the off-season games, he wasn't playing to the expectations people placed on him.
It's normal because he has to fill the role of stax, as an igl and also an initiator. for the off season I can say he's pretty good but not amazing though. I hope he can play in the T1 team in the future.

yeah, but it’s only kickoff, plus it’s not like he’s completely new, also DRX got 2nd in Pacific after making huge changes, so i’m fine.
athan is young + he gets to compete under DRX prospects. Not a bad thing for him at all.

simply not true. this DRX roster (-foxy9 -buzz +free1ng +hyunmin) should be perceived as AT LEAST equal to last year's roster (better than PRX). losing buzz is negated by mako being off igl.
AT LEAST equal to last year's roster is crazy saying, hyunmin is infinitely a downgrade compared to Buzz, and DRX werent that much better than PRX that year anyways, and free1ng is not a better IGL compared to either Mako or stax

free1ngs igling has been fine? why are we pretending mako's igling was that good, the only person who did that during the season was me but that's only because i needed to cope about mako not fragging.
-mid igling +mid igling (neutral trade)
-buzz +hyunmin (negative trade)
-foxy9 +free1ng (neutral trade, since free1ng is igl)
-mako igl +mako pure controller (extremely positive trade, going from mid controller to literally the GOAT of controllers)

Did i call Makos IGL was good? I only said that Free1ng is a worse IGL compared to mako. You even said free1ngs igl has been fine not great. Letting a rookie IGL will always strike you back one day (Mark my words when DRX doesnt make bangkok)
Also +hyunmin -buzz is an extremely negative trade which neutralizes Mako being a full time controller again.

also yeah DRX probably won't make it to bangkok, they're competing with GENG, NS, and PRX for the other spot with T1, each are 50/50 matches esp with new DRX imo.

Competing with GENG, NS, PRX, T1 means that they will most likely be top 4 Pacific team which is worse than their regional performances last year

KR take esports seriously but its not "too much". if you don't know about the scene well, just dont make wild assumptions about it, it aint that hard.

Stax wanted a new challenge, rb and zest had talks with the coaches too. foxy literally calls termi "bro" in korean. athan was clearly not good enough and they made the decision to bring back beyn and allow athan to play for prospects. nothing "crazy pressure" about this one tbh
You should actually check out PUBG PC scene of Korea. Recently a player retired and he actually confessed that their coach used to hit them with actual bat. And another player complained a lot about the environment as well. The orgs were geng and dnw. Valo might not be the same tho.
