Bruh that's 2023 lol.

Just dumb people. I don't think there has been a single event ever since he joined tier t1 where he wasn't insane except for Toronto obviously. He has been a top tier ayer ever since he joined apac.

posted 1 hour ago

In form fpx was insane. They were making prime geng and th struggle mainly based on their mechanical skills. Everyone in that team can shoot. Currently prx, fnc and geng.

posted 4 days ago

Still insanely low for a game between fnc and prx. And viewership not even split today.

posted 4 days ago

Is fifa club world cup as prestigious as ucl or any other big major championship in football? Like it's official event right? And saw that it has 1 billion dollars prize pool funded by Saudi. The difference between it and esports is crazy lol.

posted 4 days ago

Cause he ain't in top 5.

posted 5 days ago

What makes this even better is it's a bo3 and not a bo5.

posted 5 days ago

Muggle or edg coaching staff. I think they just benefited from after blueprint. Cause otherwise I don't understand how edg's meta reads and macro has been so terrible after champs. People talk about termi or autumn but if edg coaching was as good as that, edg would be top 4 team every event ngl.

Termi is overhated tbh. Flashback problem isn't cause of him. Drx just been unlucky this year.

It's mainly cause eu isn't like a single country. Also there is a lot more competition in cs compared to league. Basically a lot more teams are competitive. This year has been the exception tho with vit just dominating everything. As for league it was basically just cn vs kr until now but with china degrading it's just lck or kr. And generally only 3 to 4 teams are really good and competitive and the gap with rest is very big.
Also fps in general feel more competitive compared to moba even between a strong and a weak team.
Also this was just my opinion. People will still find league fun if they love one country domination and only love lck.

posted 5 days ago

Cs is at least showing some good signs with Brazil and Asia recently. Also since it's eu which consist of a lot of diff countries it doesn't feel as bad as league. Also many teams are competitive in cs normally. Vit just the exception this year. While in league the gap between top 3-4 and others is so huge.

posted 5 days ago

Yeah it was inevitable with how lpl talent base was dying for a long time now and how the league was degrading year by year. But didn't think it would be this fast.

posted 5 days ago

Yeah don't think there is any other big eSports with regional parity like val has currently. Val fans are truly blessed ngl.
And I find it insane that many people in vlr want another league like situation in league.

posted 5 days ago

Main problem is the regional disparity. Only 2 regions basically china and Korea are good and now china esports scene in lol is degrading too. So it's becoming a bit too one sided. Basically league is slowly becoming the overwatch or dota2.

It is still fun for people who just like lck alone and don't really care about competition between regions.

posted 5 days ago

Worlds will probably my last event. if lpl isn't competitive in worlds it might be the most boring worlds oat. Also lpl dying wouldn't matter if other regions weren't so ass and were more competitive. Val is blessed with the regional parity.

posted 5 days ago

Damm this esports is slowly starting to get boring. Lpl dying is making this esports stale man. Was hoping for another lck vs lpl grand finals. Blessed with valorant eSports. Yes apac has been winning every event in recent times but the competition still has been insane from every region. Just my opinion on league tbh. I don't really like any region in league in general so just finding the lck domination boring. Idk what will happen if lpl can't win worlds in china this year. Already dying lpl will probably die at faster rate.

People who love lck probably love league esports a lot tho.

Oh forgot only top 2 of stage 2 qualify for champs this year. I think last year top 3 to champs format was better but ig they changed it to make champs point more important. So this year it's harder for teams with less champs points to qualify for champs. Making top 2 is quite hard.

posted 6 days ago

Only if blg and xlg both fall of hard in stage 2. They have lot of champs points which is why it's a very hard climb for 4th spot for other teams.

posted 6 days ago

I think people are overreacting with Simon replacement. Also Simon was important but not as important as some people make it seem. Also Judging edg from ewc is crazy when it's their 3rd ever actual game with hfmi. Stage 2 and Champs will be the real test for edg.

As for prx. I think they just got the confidence back but yeah patmen has been a solid overall change for prx

posted 6 days ago

Champs the biggest event of the year will start right after stage 2. Looking at the champs points and teams form so far which 4 teams do you think are making it to champs from each region?
My list:-

Americas:- G2, Sen, Eg, mibr/nrg.

EMEA:- fnc, th, tl, vit/bbl

Apac:- prx, geng, t1, rrq/drx

China:- edg, wolves, blg, fpx/xlg

Many of the teams I have ranked in top 4 may not be in good form rn but they have a lot of champs points.

Here is the ranking for number of champs points every team has from every region.

If kc wins ewc suygetsu will have 2 events win which means he will be top 10 player oat but don't think anyone will put him in top 10 with this ewc win. So yeah I don't think ewc effects top players oat list at all. Oh wait jingg will also be eligible for top 10 if prx wins ewc and if ewc is as prestigious as masters but it's not.

posted 6 days ago

It's just val fans. They overreact all the time. But yeah the comp thing is true for sure. They should get a bit more creative with it.

I mean it is inevitable. Nothing can last forever. With lpl talent base dying or being dead it was just some time away from whole league starting to die as well. Lpl will at least last like few years more tho if it goes on like this.
League will probably become overwatch if lpl talent base doesn't get revitalized.

posted 1 week ago

They are just not giving the feeling of a team anymore. It's actually sad to see their current state.

posted 1 week ago

It has been so unfortunate for them this year. Poor guys.

posted 1 week ago

It's mainly for the ewc points which is why that game is needed.

posted 1 week ago

Yep just not as prestigious as masters let alone champs. How will it be as prestigious as masters with that ass schedule and format? People already call lock in an official event a mickey mouse just cause of the single elimination format. Let's not even talk about ewc

posted 1 week ago

What about scheduling for china and apac? Chinese teams had games in china 3-5 days before this event and along with prepping for stage 2 matches they had to directly travel again for this. And apac has stage 2 matches in like 2 days after this event which are very important for making champs.

Another problem is it's not a part of official eSports cycle for valorant. It doesn't have any champs points or circuit points. and it's qualifiers were equally ass too like just before ewc for 3rd see teams of Toronto which was very unfair. And format with bo1 and single elimination playoffs is just not it for valorant.

And finally yes money makes this event quite important but it's just not as prestigious as masters.
People call it mickey mouse in the sense that it's not as big or as prestigious as official val events especially masters. Let's not even talk about champs.

posted 1 week ago

It is for valorant standards. We are talking about val here not cs. This is vlr not hltv. Can you imagine there being a single elimination playoffs and bo3 finals in champs in val? If that happened in val everyone would be calling it a mickey mouse event.

posted 1 week ago

It only works for val. Can you imagine how ass almost every other eSports will be if they do what you are saying? This event isn't an official riot event so they have no say on this.

Thanks for all the answers. So ig munchkin has at least a year more left. Nice to hear that. Again thanks for the info.

posted 1 week ago

So the age shown in liquipedia (27 years old) is his Korean age or the normal age? Damm more curious now. How does Korean age work? What's munchkin real age and Korean age? Thanks for the answer.

posted 1 week ago

So munchkin can delay it till he is 30 or not? I saw some say 28 is the limit and I couldn't understand your answer. So can you pls answer again. Sorry for the trouble.

posted 1 week ago

What's the maximum age till which you can avoid the service? The guy below said you can delay it by giving justified reason. So is esports a justified reason and can munchkin or anyone else delay it?

posted 1 week ago

So munchkin can actually give the esports career as a reason and delay it till he is 30? That would mean he will have at least 2 more years of val.

posted 1 week ago

Asian games are so stupid. Apparently cause of violence and blood fps games aren't included in it. And next asian games is next year and there is no fps or valo in that.

posted 1 week ago

How is he the goat?

posted 1 week ago

It's also the schedule and format along with what you said. Like eu had really bad schedule with Toronto but this looks much worse. And single elim playoffs.

posted 1 week ago

Ewc ain't gonna change the ranking or anything. Champs will change a lot of the ranking tho I can feel it

posted 1 week ago

At least noman can apparently communicate in English. So that should help a bit with rarga. But yeah you was insane at supporting rarga.

Young one with aspas for sure. I don't see a single weak link in the young roster. But for the old one zellsis or boaster can be the weak link easily.

8/10 at best.
S1 8.5
S2 7
S3 ??
Haven't watched s3 yet but from what I have heard so far it's decent but gets worse. And I won't watch it anymore too. So anyone fill in the marks s3 gets in your opinion.

posted 2 weeks ago

How was it? Better than s1?

Add ardiss in hm. Not that consistent for long period but was still really good in his peak form.
