there were other instances where riot took in opinions from VCT teams. Riens saying riot won't listen to him? That was a tweet from October. Riot could have had plans to nerf neon a few weeks before the kick off starts, and if im not mistaken sliggy mentioned that riot would probably want to nerf neon after a few weeks (this was in october/november) so that it can be played during the off seasons and stage 3, while the kick off can start off with a more balanced agents. You are avoiding my arguments and only blindly throwing your own opinions so theres really no point. Almost every pro talked about neon, the community talked about neon, hence riot nerfed it.

but its also undeniable that its because its tenz (most prominent valorant player, face of val esports as a whole)'s gf (kyedae, who also has an impressive following) that everyone is blowing this out of proportion. they just don't seem to realize that overspeculating and getting into verbal dogfights will only exacerbate the situation and upscale the drama, whether or not it's these people's goal to.
