I dont get Vyse hype

The first thing is that each comp (in the current meta) MUST have 1 of each of these things
A Duelist
A initator
A smoke
Cypher/KJ or Viper (on bind/split)

If a comp does not have one of these it suffers greatly. The fifth spot is dependent on map and in current meta it is either a second smoke or second initator. To run vyse would be to choose her as the 5th and she is one of the worst in this case.

Agents as a better 5th then here in no order:
Jett/Raze/Phoniex (with new buffs)/Neon/Yoru/Sova/Fade/Breach/Gekko/Kayo/Skye/Harbor/Viper/Omen/Astra/Brim/Cypher/KJ/Deadlock
Debatable (but still better imo):
Iso/Clove/Chamber/Sage
Not better:
Reyna

So I dont get why teams would every play her when theres so many better options? Can someone explain how/why she is better than the agents I listed in any gven comp as a 5th?

Recon initiator
Trap sentinel
Controller

The reason people may be hyping her (I haven't really seen hype) is that she can fill both the trap sentinel and info/flash initiator role, leaving space for an extra agent (or two if you're risky)

we just saw apac run vyse on a few maps in the RB home ground. i know its just off season, but i think teams are cooking up a few things.

edg won champs playing no sentinel on lotus or abyss but that’s beside the point of the thread which is that vyse sucks lol

Vyse is probably the strongest agent in all of Valorant. The reason is simple. The utility is so weak that you pass more time being "gun up" instead of trying to do some fancy "utility" plays. Statistics has shown that while your holding a gun instead of a random "utility" in a gunfight, you're must likely going to win the gunfight

Then the 2 last spot are open for the 3 last role a team usually have (You need to pick 2 and drop 1) :

• A sentinel
• A flasher
• A second controller
  Usually you have to drop one of this, but thanks to Vyze you can hall all of 3 and sacrifce nothing, a little bit like at Skye prime where you have a excellent recon and an excellent flasher (Maybe even better, because you can have a dedicated agent to reveal, and have an agent that is split in the 2 minor roles)

If you want some datas about split 2 :

• 0 Diver composition is 3% PR (And have a horrible NMWR 45%)
• 0 Reveal comp is 4% PR (And have a horrible NMWR 44%)
• 0 Controller comp is 0% PR (Literrally)
  Then about the 2 minors spellroles + soloCtrl
• 0 Flash comp : 14% and 55% NMWR
• 0 Sentinel comp : 14% 54% NMWR
  It's hard to calculate the 1 ctrl comp, its gonna be imprecise
• 1 Controller comp : 64% less than 48% NMWR (I does count Sage as a ctrl, but not as a smoker, because she fit the definitions of ctrl and not the sent)

With Vyze you half sacrifce the the 2 worst role, you can fill with an agent that do the job 100% of the 3 main spellroles, then you can take a 2nd controller (Viper, Sage, or maybe even Astra), and then you fill the 2 less efficient roles with an agent that make 50% of the role.

She is not broken but she perfectly the "6 roles needed" meta by half sacrificing the 2 worst roles
