Even Indians on this site have repeatedly said there's no Indian talent worthy of tier 1, especially not over other valuable players that were selected through open tryouts. How many Indians even tried out?

Only 11 Indian players from all over the country take part in tryouts . In Indian scene there’s not much trust in GE management and everyone knows the owner has a thing for foreigners which puts a lot of players off from trying out.Last year the GE owner even claimed that selecting Indian players would hurt the league's competitive integrity and went ahead to sign Russ and Polvi.

As a GE fan, trust me I don't want a single Indian player on the team rn(as much as it pains me to admit), our talent pool is honestly dog and the only reason our team's have even been competitive is cause of imports

A mixed roster would have been nice, but no one's complaining with papichulo and Kr1stal

While you cant hate on the players, it was a result of an open tryout, everybody got their chances, so selection is based on the coach and management satisfaction. Either way they are fresh faces in T1 valorant and hoping that they have discovered a talent.

All philipino roster makes sense. Indonesia already has 2 teams in the league. As far as SEA talent is concerned, only Philippines or Thai has large enough talent pool. Based on results, Indian players are mid to bottom. Korea, Japan already has too many teams in league too. So talented players have to be in Philippines or Thailand, given only one team from each region.
