It's not hate. It doesn't matter how good of a team they field. They fail to deliver. Their VCT history has been filled with operational issues. Visa issues and players losing prac time in November - December. Coaches leaving mid season. Mid season role changes. It's not even their fault. IDK how long will the owner stay invested. ROI is probably lesser than fixed deposits lol + all that headache and heart breaks. They are probably the only team without a core set of players. Even DFM found Meiy to build around.

Waiting for Patmen to have the worst season of his life and papi to have the best, single handedly beating GE to d*ath, if he gets picked up by a vct team. Yes, GE has that negative aura in them.

Even tho the way they lost these matches was disappointing, but this was still the best performance by an SA team in 5 years of valorant and definitely the best in ascension tournament since inception. There's a lot to be happy about, and a lot to be angry, too.

Ofcourse. Even these results are a surprise given the poor record of SA teams in ascension. SA has grabbed some of the best imports in the past too, including Persia. Previous VLT had Doma and Ec1s and they failed to even make it to ascension. SA needs more competition, and there simply isn't enough talent pool here, we are a bunch of growing economies afterall.

Meiy is much more than just an aim god. He has good utility usage, knows how to take duels with advantage and map + positional advantage. He is actual talent from Japan. Too bad the others are not upto his level in the team and are on autopilot.

Deryeon isn't the player they wanted to play with. Singapore, South Korea and USA have some of the strongest passport and korea and us players don't travel for kickoff and regular season. This is completely on riot. Furia's whole team didn't get visa which is wild.
