"The Indian players are bad" take is something I can agree with, but I'll be damned if indonesia is overrated, of anything PH are more overrated considering how many more of fillipinos player overseas even when the skill level btwn PH and Indo is somewhat similar, even tho imo indonesian teams are far better

Only 11 Indian players from all over the country take part in tryouts . In Indian scene there’s not much trust in GE management and everyone knows the owner has a thing for foreigners which puts a lot of players off from trying out.Last year the GE owner even claimed that selecting Indian players would hurt the league's competitive integrity and went ahead to sign Russ and Polvi.

thing is there's already like more than 10 Indo players, and there's like whole TS for PH players (before the GE signings), so if they're around a similarly strong level, why not more PH players too...
All philipino roster makes sense. Indonesia already has 2 teams in the league. As far as SEA talent is concerned, only Philippines or Thai has large enough talent pool. Based on results, Indian players are mid to bottom. Korea, Japan already has too many teams in league too. So talented players have to be in Philippines or Thailand, given only one team from each region.
