New Favourite Tier 1 Team

Hey so recently my favourite team in Valorant for about 2 years, M80, has unfortunately disbanded and now I don't know who to support for my #1 team so I am asking you guys for help. Who do you think should be my new favourite Valorant team and why?

Things that I care about and may convince me further:

Former M80 Players
Vision includes winning and making a legacy not just brand exposure and money
They often prioritize new, young and rising talent
They care about their community like they often make content, give out goodies and listen to their fans etc.
I don't care about history as long as their is no controversies or bad brand image (such as BLEED) as long as their willing to make history
I am Muslim, Canadian and South Asian and so I would love to support teams/players that I can relate to

Requirements:

Tier 1 only since I already have some tier 2 teams I like
Prefer from NA so I can watch their games but can be from other regions
Not G2 or 2G (They eliminated M80)

This will be my new favourite team until I feel like they don't fit into what I am looking for or why I liked them in the first place. I would appreciate everyone giving me their opinions

not only that but verno and mada r like goated t2 players and dont forget bonkar (heard great things from him)

Since you want to support M80 players, there is only one team in NA that has a M80 player - 100T (Zander) . In EMEA NAVI are rumored to get HAPPY and KOALANOOB so you could also support NAVI.

In terms of which orgs treat their community well, I think all of them are the same in this department. But in terms of how well they support the VAL community, SEN has the upper hand here, they host a bunch of OFF//SEASON tournaments that keep the offseason eventful.

Here are my thoughts:

Former M80 Players
Your options here are Sentinels (johnqt), 100 Thieves (eeiu + zander), and Natus Vincere (koalanoob + Happy, though both are technically still leaks and could be subject to change)
Vision includes winning and making a legacy not just brand exposure and money
This applies to most orgs so I won't make a note here
They often prioritize new, young and rising talent
Americas teams that come to mind are Evil Geniuses (they're very dedicated to building talent and the org has a program for it). Other teams such as LOUD, Cloud9, Made in Brazil, and NRG are doing building rosters next year where they mix experienced veterans with rising stars. Also do keep in mind a few teams are gonna have academy teams in tier 2 next year, such as Leviatán
They care about their community like they often make content, give out goodies and listen to their fans etc.
No one Americas org jumps out at me for this category. I do know Paper Rex and Karmine Corp are very connected with their fanbases, though, probably more than most orgs in all of esports

Again, this is almost every org, so I won't make a note

The Muslims in VCT that I know of are d4v41 from Paper Rex, johnqt from Sentinels, and avez and ZEISH from Karmine Corp, but there could be more

Overall, I think your best options, in order, are Sentinels, Karmine Corp, and Paper Rex. I'm biased because it is my favourite team (2025) but I think you should consider Karmine Corp :)

LOUD are financially struggling I heard and I heard mibr took their val players prizes and invested into their cs2 team which I dont like
I also heard Cloud9 just doesn't want to spend money on Valorant or can''t for some reason thats why they are resorting to tier 2 players and not because they see talent in them which I don't like
I am considering NRG as well but I just want the smoke to be cleared up with Chet first
As for Karmine Corp can you talk about them regarding my other points such as rising talent have they been looking into that? I am not 100% sure I am not completely aware of the EMEA scene

EG does a lot of scouting and runs programs for players they find interest in (see https://youtu.be/UNCh69AyIRk for an example). Their rosters have historically been groups of scrappy young talents and rejects who always manage to defy expectations and, under a great coach, make lengths they probably shouldn't (this year they were one game off playoffs, last year they actually won Champions after getting 13-0'd earlier in the year). In fact, their coach potter alone is a great reason to be a fan of the team
LOUD are probably not a good choice for you, I just thought I'd throw them in there because they met the criteria for that one point
Cloud9 has the least number of fans of any team in NA, so you'd have that going for you. And I don't know what their financial situation is but orgs should be looking to pick up players from tier 2 anyway, especially in NA. v1c is a really good player and I have a hunch we'll see that next year
Your opinion on NRG is fair, but honestly, if you're gonna support a team, you might as well do it for the players, y'know? They're picking up mada and Verno this year, both of whom are young and ready to prove themselves
Karmine Corp focused a LOT on building talent last year (marteen, N4RRATE, and tomaszy were all duelists from tier 2) but it didn't go well for them because the team had a huge issue with midrounding. This year the team is bringing in more experienced players in Saadhak, SUYGETSU, and Elite (mostly because they're the biggest French org and Champions is in Paris) but they're still keeping the idea of building talent in mind by keeping marteen and adding avez, who's an amazing flex player (and I'm pretty sure the only player in the league) from MENA. Their team also focuses a lot more on trying to innovate and come up with new ideas (ENGH and Saadhak are both very good at this), so they'll be playing different stuff than most other teams

Elite was also a T2 player (hes 19yo) and they want to build a Academy team aswell, where the two first possible players played in the Spotlight tournament: Yohpa and F4ngeer, both played incredible and are 17yo and F4ngeer was one of the top rated players from East last season, also they have former Gambit Coach Enghh + the addition of Saadhak and 4 aim machines is just absolutely insane, i myself turned to a KC fan bcs of this

Hey ! KC fan on every game here, I can definitely tell you that on Valorant, KC, with Engh's help, prioritized a lot giving light to rising talents.
KC's line-up during 2024 was :

marteen(Rookie)
tomaszy(Rookie)
N4RRATE(Rookie)
MAGNUM(Rookie as IGL)
sh1n(very young and pretty inexperienced player at that time, because he was on the previous roster, an absolutely disastrous one)

The line-up for next year is going to be :

marteen
SUYGETSU
Elite(Turkish, so he's probably muslim ?)
avez(Egyptian rookie)

For making a legacy, they definitely want that. Engh wouldn't be there otherwise, and it's just the CEO's point of view, they want to win on every game, and when they do, they want to do it consistently.
And I think you can't find any other org that cares more about their community than KC, you should watch images of KCX 3, which happened in Europe's biggest indoor venue, last year. The fourth edition is this November, and it's gonna be the first time seeing the new line-up.
I don't know if you're from Quebec, but knowing French would definitely help you trying to interact with the fanbase.

hes playing Viper and Harbor already and in ranked u can see him play Omen and Astra also quite commonly, also he has def some experience and can learn the other smokers bcs as a Senti player, the ingame playstyle is quite similar (even Demon1 learned smokes while also beeing Duelist main, so Suygetsu easily can do it)

Gentle Mates, why? after their first bad season, they look like underdogs, they brought in Goked to build their new roster (from full french to international) and he did an insane job:

first he kept K4davra, best french T1 player atm, very good smoker, french representation
then he brought in Minny, insane Sentinel player from East (GoNext) and they snapped him before Koi could get him
then they got a T2 IGL RobbieBK, whos not only young but also very talented, making Ascension with his former team and also beeing a very good fragger
for duelist they brought in the first real German T2 Player: Click, he had an immaculate Season on Sk, sadly went 5th in Dach but Click has been the 2. best player in the Season stat wise (while beeing 5th) and is 18yrs old, he also couldnt use his full potential bcs he went to school and bcs of that they only could prac in the afternoon but now he will go fulltime and will be even better than atm + hes prob Muslim (idk fs but i think i read it somewhere), and hes my goat
they got Zyppan, as a Veteran and former Navi player and Masters Winner with experience and good Initiator abilities hes a good adition imo

-> all of them besides Zyppan are rookies and M8 got players like Minny and Click who were trialed by many diff teams (for example Minny: Koi, M8, Click: Navi, GX, BBL and M8)
-> they will give their all bcs they want to stay in T1 (competition with Apeks all the time)
-> got nice color palette on their logo, idk is something different not the boring red all the time
-> they are the dark horse of emea and got little attention bcs of their bad last season
-> didnt played against M80 (M8 and M80 is very similar lmao)

Yeah honestly Click is looking really good and the rest of the team also looks really good its just that because they are ascension team they have a chance of getting relegated and I don't want the first season I support a team and they are gone from tier 1 immediately and considering last years performance Im getting a little worried but nevertheless I will think about it, thank you for your detailed opinion
