Its very bittersweet to see a lot of the players that we've come to know and love leave the org simultaneously (basically team implosion), but theres no innovation without trying new things. Will still support all the players leaving on their new endeavors wherever they end up.
Honestly during his first year on Sen, he pulled extremely crazy clips once he starts playing for himself (as the last man standing) and didn't need to focus on igling since everyone else was dead. The one incident vs Lev on Lotus comes to mind (when he was trapped in a corner by KJ ult.
Really depends on how much he wants to be with Zekken over the current Sen structure.
Wish you guys all the best, hope you guys achieve the peaks that we expect that star duo to make.
PRX and FNC won something, that just leaves heretics unless you count ewc.
Probably meant that he plays smokes too passively, but I think that's more an issue of the system and player fit.
Remembered back at the beginning of year and halfway when everyone said Americas was done for due to alot of talent leaving the region, how the tables have turned.
I actually heard it was the opposite, money wasn’t the issue; he just wanted to play with Aspas.
It’s a lot more vocal minority, a lot of the more casual fans are non-vocal but you can look at social media to see how much traction posts with him get compared to those without (aside from PRX, Aspas, etc)
FNC made 2 changes but kept their identity with boaster as their igl, which gave them a cohesive core to work with. Sen lost their igl, primary duelist, and smokes player with no clear identity of what the team should be. Fans are mostly scared since they believe they're dealing with too many unknowns atm.
Dude that's the beauty of tournaments, people like seeing teams that beat the odds and win it all if they're not one of the favorites. Makes sports a lot more exciting in general.
People think that Sacy could potentially become the Assistant Coach for MIBR
They've been seen idle on VCTScrim screenshots while Zellsis and Kaplan were in scrims the past several days.
dying inside as a sixers fan
I doubt it, apparently Zellsis has been in all their trials so I assuming they're building around him for next year.
well the cycle repeats, win a trophy, take 2 years off, win a trophy, rinse and repeat.
He’s not a liability but given what Sen is potentially losing this off-season I can see why fans aren’t too happy since the floor and ceiling is lower or unproven with the rumored pieces around him (basically needs to be a strong leader that can elevate his teammates, otherwise they won’t make a single international).
Problem is there’s not a clear franchise star to rally behind or to pass the baton to; with the 2024 to 2025 season you had Zekken left when TenZ retired and was expected to be the new face of Sen, but now after a disappointing year they lost Zekken and a lot of the fanbase don’t really see Zellsis as that guy (N4RRATE hasn’t been on the roster as long as Zellsis and a lot more people were attached to 2024 core comparatively).
On the other NRG had built a superteam on paper in 2024 with Ethan and Demon1, failed and got back fanbase favorites in FNS and S0M in the same year while keeping Ethan, and now are going in 2026 with Ethan still on board and S0M retiring on high note hot off a champs win.
It doesn’t help when people see they’re building around zellsis who people don’t perceive as a star franchise player.
That’s way too much starpower, I don’t think that’s fair for the rest of the league.
I think they meant promoting Skuba during the 2025 season.
That’s a very depressing scene if it’s just a 1 team esport.
Turn back before it's too late, don't go into the pit of never-ending despair that is LoL Esports, at least all regions are competitive currently and has achieved something internationally in Valorant.
Cortezia is a rookie though, I doubt he gets paid that much relative to Aspas and Verno, and his current (rookie) contract lasts till 2026 so it's not like his pay increased.
I still don't know how MIBR gave up on Cortezia, dude really wanted to be there and actively made social media posts as well to increase visibility of the org.
How does the assistant coach dynamic work? Not sure if Anderzz still wants to remain remote full time or if he's willing to relocate to LA (also timezone differences).
Even as much as people rag on EU for not winning in the past two years, the fact that they constantly make it to the grand finals is a lot better than not making it out of swiss (groups equivalent) for the last two years. The disparity the west has vs the east is a lot more pronounced, I would take having disappointment that the team failed at the biggest stage rather than abject despair that the west has been for the past few years.
Bruh why did you revive this thread?
Ngl I'm surprised you rated Americas so high, thought everyone was so doomer on them minus G2 this year (at least until Champs playoffs).
Think he got excluded from the insults since he’s not from EU.
I don’t even know why sentinel main is ragebaiting, FNC even has an import from NA .
Isn’t that the champs curse fulfilled though? No champs roster has ever made it through the next year fully intact.
How many igls are able to semi consistently take their teams to international grand finals?
Doesn’t 2023 FNC (Boaster, Derke, Leo, Alfa) have 1 master and 1 lock in?
its the grand finals, you do what you can to win, there's no shame since its not like the other team aren't allowed to do the same.
Honestly respect, its really hard to watch teams you're rooting for fumbling at the finish line when you know they're so close.
I stand corrected, he works in mysterious ways (idk what’s his criteria for supporting teams)
