I love the idea that riot is doing but I don't completey understand so are we going back to a 10 team league and then only during stage 2 playoffs the tier 2 teams come? which means no need for ascension? I assume thats what they mean right?
Another day, another challenge for the VLR hermits. Today it's something simple:

they didn't release all their players iirc some of their contracts still go into next season they just letting them explore options obv this most likely means they don't want them but 100 theives havent finalized a coach once they do their vision could involve some of these players or not but from what I am seeing the orgs vision is building something completely new so I wouldnt be surprised if max 1-2 players stay

Today's challenge is a game of VCT connections.
For people who have never played before: There are 4 categories and you have to find the 4 items within those categories by finding items that would make sense to be under the same category. Like one category could be smokes and out of the 16 players there are only 4 smoke players so you would select those 4 and submit.

yall be overrating hype man like yeah they are nice to have but there are good teams that don't have one (or maybe Im wrong I dont look at every teams comms vidoes)
Cryo won't be on a team for a while if he doesn't make the cut for 100T. Most good teams aren't looking for someone like him, I doubt he would be willing to take a cheap offer on a smaller team and will probably just wait until a spot on a good team opens up. Plus I am not entirely sure what roles he prefers but from what Ive seen the roles and agents he is good at gives him an awkward agent pool that doesn't really slot in easy on a team and him saying he can play a role doesn't mean teams would want him on that role.

Im acctually suprised how many people are doing pretty good on it. I gave it to my friends and they took like at least 10 guesses each so I tht it was hard enough so I suppose they are not versed enough in vct knowledge
Edit: now that I think of it, its acctually pretty easy if you think a little I dont think my friends are good at connections
tbh this one is pretty hard like you start by looking for something in common in between the players but its not very obvious what it is

Yeah! that was the purpose! have a little fun problem solving challenge you don't have to do it competitively vs other users. I do this often when I am bored with my irl friends where we would put 2 random 4 digit id number in the link for the players and we connect them!
maybe I will think about it but for now Id recommend you do my daily challenges without looking at the comments and I can add a disclaimer for that on future posts but if someone does raise the issue again I will consider it

I think the idea was good for the short term to really lock in big orgs to get them invest into the scene but there are many other issues that come with it that Riot just mishandled. Plus long term it may not be feasible
