How bad would TenZ have to perform...

For SEN to remove him from the team. Currently TenZ is playing at the peak of T1 and is one of the best players itw. He is also the face of valorant, and has the biggest fanbase out of every player. So this begs the question how badly he would have to perform for him to be cut from the roster (this is assuming Tenz doesnt step down himself). My bet is he would have to be consistently be putting up Boaster/FNS level numbers for a whole season.

Thoughts?

I’d say worse than that honestly. Sen doesn’t do better with more wins, they make their money off bundles and content, which TenZ helps with tremendously

edit: guys cmon wth we don't gotta be this mean to eachother

and actually winning matches helps tremendously with making money

Personally I’d argue that having TenZ helps with the money making tremendously more than winning matches does

then you are stupid, TenZ is replaceable, he isn’t someone like Faker lol. Winning is very obviously a more important factor than keeping TenZ.

Yea no buddy 💀 He has more impact for SEN, an example of someone doing so shit but they are so beloved in the team culture they stay is Boaster, and TenZ is 10x more important in comparison

he is replaceable in the event that he actually does become shit, but that has never been the case so far. SEN would always value winning over keeping TenZ and idk how you’re in denial about this fact.

Orgs favour money and income before trophies

And those trophies would rake in money and income retard, why do you think SEN were still the biggest NA org heading into 2024? It’s because they were still living off of their early success in 2020 and 2021. This isn’t rocket science.

You call people retards before logically assuming that Bundles and Sponsors, which are two things independent of results being more money than winning. And also define BIGGEST org. If you bring up some Net Worth price, then it's based on how marketable the team is, not how Good it is

How do you guarantee wins by replacing literally one of the best players itw? Are you even a SEN fan? Show me 1 replacement that GUARANTEES winning everything

Looks like you're a new SEN fan. Were you not around when TenZ got benched? SEN almost lost its whole fanbase.

Because he wasn’t the problem, my scenario only applies if he obviously is, hope this helps

not really. The reason SEN is so loved is cause of TenZ and Tarik. They literally have the face of Competetive valorant and the Face of Valorant Content Creation on the same org. Winning matches is just a bonus.

I would say 2 seasons of that kinda performance, maybe 3 max

actually scratch that, 3 seasons 4 max I just remembered SEN (not TenZ specifically) in 22/23

but honestly I don't think it's really probable for him to have such a dip for that long. He's only 23 so I think he has a good 3-4 years in him at least

He wasn't even that bad in 22. He just had a horrible team while not playing his comfort role. 23 was also a shit year for SEN but he was doing so braindead plays icl.

He literally had only 2 bad series in all of 23 and people make it seem like it was the worst stint of a valorant pro ever! Ig this is what happens when you're tenz and everyone and sideshow hates you.

SEN will not remove him. Its literally impossible until he decides to leave

even if he drops boaster numbers they wouldnt drop him. their org is centered around him

I think SEN would only remove him if he chose to retire or move to the bench. If his performance decreased on Omen he would switch agents to something new. If that kept failing then I could see a self-bench but otherwise, I don't see it happening.

it still surprises me that tenz is the second longest-serving member of an NA team
and the first is... well... Asuna

he’d have to be pretty fucking bad, honestly

the only point in which he was the worst player on sentinels was the early iteration of sen 2023, where he was still the main duelist, and even then he switched to becoming a full-time flex and has since found his form again

unless his performance drastically drops from what it is now, he probably won’t be removed from the starting roster for a while. even then, he’ll likely end up as a streamer and then eventually a co-owner, since he is of course the face of sentinels itself

TenZ will be the first person to move away if it comes down to that so you don't have to worry. Remember even in 2021 when an interviewer asked him if he was the best he ignored that question. In 2023, when he was having mental and physical health problems he moved himself away. yay goes around doing interviews about how his past teams fked him up, how his teammates were all terrible and people shows him pity for it but I've never seen tenz do that even when SEN were doing the most r3tarded things ever. He is his own harshest critic.
