he is saying that pros who arent as mechanically good should grind ranked. Alot of people in the comments shitting on him for this but I think if you are at the top level even if you are a igl you should be prioritzing mechanics. For example if you look at someone like fns, he is a very good igl but think about how much better he would be with insane mechanics.

what do you guys think about this?

Idk about the conclusion that they should be grinding ranked necessarily (aimlabs/a real aim training regimen might be more time efficient). But yeah if you aren't clearing immortal players as a pro, you forsure need to work on mechanics. Thats not even a question to me.

Curry is right. When pro players are demon mode on Rank, they tend to perform better during VCT. I've seen it multiple times so I fully agree.

This makes no sense, a ranked players isnt a pro player.

In ranked, all u does is play the game, you didnt train for anything.

Metal healthness + focused mind + inteligence = Good pro.

Like in football, if u are being suck, you dont go play in trhr streets, either you train either you seek mental health.

People shitting on him but FNS literally said the exact same thing. He said the way to get better at the game is by simply “playing the game” and that you should grind ranked and tdm

his tier 1 career failed to miserably that he has to tell other tier 1 players what to do

curry on T1 was mid at best, after T1 he grinded a ton in ranked and mastered a lot of roles. When he came back on C9 he took Fnatic to 5 maps. Tier 1 pros in 2020/2021 were not grinding ranked as much, the ones that did grind ranked a ton are still in the league which goes to show.

He is talking about mechanical skill, which makes perfect sense.
If you are in franchise and you are a 500rr player with 1.0 kd and 190 acs in ranked for example, what do you expect is going to happen when you have to win duels in tier 1 against WAY better competition than ranked? If you are not an above average radiant player how can you expect to be good in tier 1?

Of course this is not as applicable to IGL's as they are not really asked to frag, but if you are talking about mechanical skill alone, he is absolutely right.
And if you can IGL and also have good mechanics, thats even better.

And if pros grinded ranked more maybe streamers would stop yapping about hitting radiant for the 10th time being boring.
