They said they had a very busy year last year and complained about it
that's what I'm saying... I get that it wasn't the same roster but coaches control the roster...
NRG 2-1 MIBR
Close games 13-11, 10-13, 14-12
Look at all iterations of Gen G roster
every team Lmapuddy has been on has failed, I don't know how he is coaching fnatic but boaster sees something in him. Gen G started getting success after he left the team, which says a lot. And lots of question marks recently about Fnatic since Lmapuddy has joined.
π π people were hyping up the nerd street lcqs like crazy back then
The second event was a good event, it was LCQ for the main Nerdstreet winter tourney
Shahzam wanted sean gares and boot camps but got neither of those(till the end). It is still impressive af how SEN won the first masters compared to how other teams during his time(100t, Fnatic) had lots of coaching structure with boot camps. Also all the uncertainty about if tenz will even stay on the team
btw it is also clear they have 0 practice on lotus as well if they were forced into the split pick tbh. People don't talk about NRG having such a limited map pool only playing into jett only Demon1 maps.
thoughts on the phoenix breach setup on NRG?
Victor - Phoenix
Crashies - Breach
Ethan - Flex
Demon1 - Controller
Marved - Perma Viper
I feel like it suits their contact playstyle very well, also with this comp it is structured to set up the viper and secondary controller which Marved and Demon1 are capable of.
You should've seen how much he was grilling TenZ in 2023 when he was dealing with Kyedae's situation, being sick, and all of the hate he was getting. It's all clout, if he cared about showing flaws he would have videos made on ardiis, yay, and Asuna last year but he didn't.
These people just need to leave America but they can't last a second outside their online communities
everyone is so privileged man...
Congrats on beating 2 players that got auto-eliminated in tier 2 last year, 1 player that haven't played a match in 1.5 years, and a franchise player with <0.8 rating last year.
EG 2-0
13-11
13-11
prophet
acting like crashies wasn't having any luck in tier 3 na cs
true I wouldn't be surprised if every comp becomes the same again toward masters. I can easily see the loud split comp and leviatans bind comp being used by everyone by the time of masters.
First time in a minute that every team has a unique comp for every map(from what we've seen so far). Outside of breeze and ascent, every team has had a unique comp for each map.
yeah but I feel like they should've switched comps instead of using afreecatv comps. Sacy can play all initiators pretty well
if Pancada joins back the team it has to be : -TenZ + Pancada
maybe you're right, but you're just weird
they just ran out of skye flashes, sacy burned 2 in like 30 seconds every t side round.
he's just baiting, don't give him attention and he will post less. Most people on the site look at pro players as objects not human
Close games OT, saying Gambit didn't prep at all is answering for them. Saadhak only started popping off toward the end of the year even still but even then was not enough to say Saadhak was a top igl in 2021.
keyword: "almost". Fnatic almost beat Sentinels in the first masters as well(all games were OT) same with Envy against Gambit.
tbf xeppa had such a bad series that game and honestly wasn't his usual self which sucks. I still think an IGL is only just as good as their duelists/team. Shahz was the greatest IGL when he had the best core 5 at the time, same with Redgar. This year will prove if Saadhak is a good IGL or if he just had the perfect pieces and everything worked in harmony.
I'm talking about world-class level top 3 in masters/champs events. Idc if he dominated Brazil, nobody is saying Stax is the best IGL in the world even though they consistently outshine all the Korean teams. Saadhak's Vikings used very outdated comps and simply did not have the structure Saadhak needed to succeed.
Just know, saadhak was nothing without aspas(look at 2021,2020), FNS was nothing without yay(2021,2020, decent 2023?). Now does that make Boostio and the upcomers a good IGL? nah, Boostio was nothing without Demon1. I would say Boaster is the best proven based on how many rosters he's played on and different variations but then again he has Derke. IGLs can't carry they can just be capable and unlock players. An IGL is only as good as the main duelist they have. Look at Vanity with Shopify rebellions and now with C9 when he has OXY.
It's Zellsis why they lost and not a pro that has been washed for 6 years. Not even considering those 2 teams were top 2 in LCQ and they almost beat them with shroud.
u can get really creative with viper on the fly tbh, it's just a different type of creativity that is more selfish than like some of the stuff he was doing on yoru/breach/omen
No regard for a players or teams feelings/situation, with PlatChat getting so many views and the comments Sideshow throws out, it builds hate and disregard for the context of the situation. TenZ not being able to perform during the regular season while being sick and dealing with Kyedae's health conditions should not be heavily critiqued which Sideshow did with his video. Although TenZ might not be the best option, the amount of negativity they throw out is crazy. Also not saying TenZ shouldn't be critiqued but Asuna on 100T for example did not play at the level that regular season but there was no video made on him, or a video made on players like ardiis/yay that underperformed heavily this year.
This is common news now, Sideshow consistently critiques TenZ every game he's cast. Spent 2-3 hours making a video detailing all of TenZ's faults. Making memes and jokes when TenZ was sick during the regular season and was dealing with Kyedae's situation. It's kinda disappointing to see but whatever gets views.
Asuna and TenZ were known as some of the best players on their teams back in 2020/2021 playing jett/reyna/raze every map now on full-time support to both ex-XSET duelist players. Kinda crazy to see the longevity between the 2 pros still being in t1 and Asuna being with 100t for about 3 years now.
NA getting its first GC championship anyways, V1 and EG too op.
yeah, he was a great leader on Shopify rebellions leading a team with 4 players that had solid chemistry for a 1y+ just to bomb out and play terribly. (sarcasm). This is a nepo pick with wippie and vanity being comfortable with Immi as a coach, that being said they could be decent but won't come no where near the level runi+mCe combo was.
Mel is probably the closet alongside Flor.
It's so hard to know who is who and what counts as being trans/nb. I feel like it sets a dangerous precedent for the future of GC if there are men who are malicious and try to get into GC. To make everything simpler it would be just nicer if you kept everything to: Biological woman plays GC, Biological men can't play GC. But Western culture is so far from it that the precedent is allowed. I'm not creating hate and want people displaced but the future state of GC doesn't look good if there aren't set precedents.
fnatic had coaching staff and proper strats just to lose to reyna :D
