Extremely common Semmler L can’t believe I used to think this dude was normal
He claims to want to the support the womens/gc scene despite being very openly against it from it's inception.
That's the thing. They always talk about how much they care for women in the scene, and how they're being negatively affected by trans participation. However, when push comes to shove, they never watch any of the games, they never support any of the players, and they don't interact with the scene outside of the times they can use it as a platform to gain any sort of interaction. In some cases, they'll switch from making fun of the GC scene and women, but will then act like a white knight anytime a trans issue comes up.
Dude look at his response to Yinsu, this guy is fucking disgusting

The best thing you can do with Semmler is just block him and stop reading it. He doesn't legitimately care about anything related to GC, he only wants to use a socially divisive topic to farm impressions in the hope of making money or rekindling any remnants of his casting career. Stop giving the fucker any impression money he might get on Twitter.
bro i have a giftcard to give to you but i'm not able to dm on vlr

I do not care about semmler and idk what he is even saying here, but trans females (born as males) should not play against born females.
I am not saying that trans people do not deserve to compete, but it is unfair to do so with certain advantages - whether it is esports or regular/traditional sports.
Anyone with fundamental anatomy and physiology knowledge knows that, on average, males have specific biological characteristics that make them superior over females: muscle fiber type, bone density, reaction time, vo2 max, lung size, heart size, etc.
Good luck to her and other trans people participating in (e)sports, but there should be another division/league for trans people in sports and esports
only parameter that kind of applies is reaction time, but the difference is so miniscule it won't even make a difference in most video games. saadhak said that the aim of gc teams especially TL brazil was on par with other male teams, but the only difference was that their tactics weren't as good. also there aren't enough trans people to create a whole new league.
that is what one might think initially, but if reaction time was the only parameter that applied, how would you explain the huge difference in success between the two?
we have 10+ years of evidence that shows female esports teams are not even close to male esports teams, so I assume there is more to it than just reaction times
it isn't a biological issue but instead it is a cultural one. until recently and even now many games were marketed to boys. more casual games which appeal to everyone such as sims which mostly girls play don't have as much potential in esports as games such as CS or valorant. Also another problem which isn't as common in valorant but is in many other games such as CS, is that there is lots of sexism and creepiness which can drive women away therefore decreasing the amount of females playing competitively in a game. Because of this, it is less likely a female will invest the time to go pro.
