I never watched nor played csgo so im curious who is better/more dominanr S1mple in csgo or Tenz in Valorant?
It’s a pretty unfair comparison because they play very different roles, S1mple is an awper through and through, he’s basically like Waddell and tries to get an awp any time he can get it, while TenZ is more of a hyper aggressive rifler/duelist, and also the relative difficulty to pull off a carry job like TenZ does sometimes compared to cs. I’d say because of the way duelists function and thrive off of aim duels in valorant TenZ still isn’t on S1mple’s level due to his straight up talent and ability, but we’ll see in the future.
I'll tell you some facts about s1mple, and let you judge s1mple vs TenZ yourself.

s1mple is the ONLY player in CSGO history, who has achieved literally everything that can possibly be achieved in CSGO. My Conclusion - GOAT OF CSGO
Now, you compare that to TenZ. And let me know what you think xD :)
S1mple is by far the GREATEST fps player to ever live. TenZ is the best player in the world in valorant right now but he is nowhere near what s1mple is in CSGO. it's not just skills , mechanics even the desire to win to be the best in the world , to always work to improve yourself s1mple is ahead of tenZ in every way. but if tenZ keeps winning like this for like 5/6 year then he'll be like s1mple i guess. unless people like s1mple , zywoo , niko and other t1 cs pro comes in valorant then i doubt tenZ can stay as #1 as he is right now. he'll still be easily top 5 or 10 tho
He is not the greatest he is just the best in current years, the only player who we can give the title of best cs player of all time is f0rest, f0rest in his prime is like s1mple before s1mple became s1mple like Zet was f0rest before f0rest became f0rest. idk why younger generation don't know just how insane f0rest was in 1.6 people say they weren't as skilled back then compare to now are you kidding, f0rest doesn't even put much time in as others lol not even half of it, and still so consistent, if he wanted to play in a top tier team he would, as for TenZ, TenZ is nowhere near their level.

No, it's not. Nobody thinks that here. It's only me. He always had a toxic personality, was banned for hacking twice, has the best stats the game has ever seen for years, all of the other best players have fallen off some point in their carrer, shox, cold, get_right, oloffmeister, NEO. He never has bad games and his aim shakes suspiciously after shots.
Ok. Tell me about another player that did something similar. Because in every single e-sport or acual sport if there's a player who is considered the best, there's always someone close enough to him to be compared. Messi, Ronaldo Pelé, TenZ, cNed, ScreaM, Asuna, Micheal Jordan, Lebron James, Kobe Bryant, Kareem Abdul Jabar, Roger Federer, Djokovic, Nadal, but CS there's no one near s1mple and the dude was already banned twice for cheating.
It's like being buffed and ripped af and destroying everybody in a sport, then failing the anti-doping exam twice, then getting back to the sport bigger than ever and more ripped than ever and destroy everyone even more and no one suspecting of anything. It's pure nayvety.
s1mple is the god of cs or maybe even the fps genre for many years and still going, while valorant is still a new game so its hard to tell if tenz will dominate valorant for many years like s1mple did in cs. i dont mean winning all the events cause s1mple didnt, but statistically s1mple was the best or top 2 cs player every year.
Tenz has top aiming and reaction talents, and is still young, so it depends on how Tenz progresses to develop his potential. But it's not good enough for now.
BTW Tenz’s CSGO career has no reference value, CSGO is just a practice game early in his career and he didnt try too hard, who cares about a young player’s previous noob stage (except for CSGO fans LUL)? People knows which game has a better future. Although he is young and can continue to progress, it is not worth to waste time of his important stage in CSGO. This theory applies to all young players move to VALORANT from CSGO.
BTW I think Cned have a greate advantage in aspect of career XD
when i open this thread i understand that maybe 80% of guys here have 0% knowledge - exp. probably switched from a game line minecraft or apex (which is not bad). s1mple is the most consistent mvp - hard carry >all in the top tier fps game who dominate everything. hes fast precise hes styling hes all. everybody knows that eu cs go is better than na cs go. go watch s1mple highlights cologne he destroyed like ranked. tenz is not even close that good in valorant how good s1mple is in cs. for me personally i think RIGHT NOW is NA Valorant better than EU but i think VS is strongest Team. This is a TEAM Game, individuals will not do much. Best example is Supermassive Blaze. Germany is playing best Football, why? In young years we get tought its a TEAM Game.
Remember my words, in this fresh new era will „Regions“ dominate. But i see huge potential for underdogs to make their success. PRX and Vivo Keyd worked so hard.
Lets stop the trashtalk and hate and spread love guys..

Is your question like "Is TenZ as successful and dominant in Valorant as s1mple in CSGO"? If it is, then I don't think so just because the game has only been out for a little over a year. S1mple has been dominant and at the top for like 5 years now. If Sentinels and TenZ stay the best for maybe 3 or more years then maybe the answer to this question wouldn't be so clear-cut. Give TenZ some time. The scariest part about him is he's already the best player in the world but is still young and can improve.
The Valorant scene would be different in three years though especially with more T1 pros switching over to Valorant, especially the NA ones (EliGE, NAF, Twistzz). Those three can make a big impact in the NA scene and might challenge TenZ and Asuna at the top of NA.
To be honest it's not even close. s1mple is one of the greatest fps players as for now.
Most likely if t1 orgs from CS with all the stuff will switch. It won't take more than 6-8 months to dominate the scene at least in EU region. It's much harder to be t1 team in CS than in Valorant right now. From what I know most of t1 players are playing like 8-12h a day so that's the reason why most of them never stream on twitch. The game became their job so all the free time they have they prefer to spend outside of the computer. Same with most of the e-sport disciplines with that much events and tournaments
Now or later the same will happen with Valorant
s1mple maybe the best CSGO player in the world but not the best in fps overall, put him in COD and he'll get shit on, put him in valorant and he'll only make it a little far but still gets shit on, he may have the aim to back him up, but aim will only get you so far, but i do believe that s1mple has the knowledge to come far in these games, but for now, to people who say hes the best fps players in the world, rephrase it to "Best CSGO player" instead of making him one of the best in a genre thats vast and wide
there are no players in fps games who are dominating the scene for such a long time so you obviously can call s1mple the best fps player. that's not only about the aim it's all about the mentality, hard work and being passionate about what you do. but i have another question. how tf did you find this thread and this message after 4 months? :D
If we want to draw comparisons between CS and Valorant Tenz is probably the Get_Right of Valorant. GTR played in the best team in the world back then and was the best player, but it was the early days of CS:GO, we did not know what is possible yet. And even still, there are players like cNed that could be better, if they had the right pieces around them.
S1mple on the other hand always played with really disfunctional teams that were really flawed, but still managed to perform like nobody else ever had. Even his current NaVi team still has a mediocre IGL for my money, even though they are Nr.1 in the world.
Having a bad team drags your potential down. People think that you can frag out a lot more, but in a bad team you will have to eco a lot more, will be forced in really disadvantages situations like retakes, and you get less support.
Here a analogy for you: Imagine TenZ and S1mple are NBA players.
While Tenz has players that are good at passing and needs to do his shots from there, s1mple literally has to dribble around 5 players that stand in his way and needs to make his shot.
S1mple probably is the single best FPS player of all time for my money.
The level in valorant is not even close to what we saw in top CSGO. When we had device, coldzera, s1mple, guardian, kennys, shox, fallen, olof... Its like people that were mediocre in CSGO are superstars in Valorant. Dapr is a great example of this... He wasnt even in the discussion of being a tier 1 player and in valorant he is a major winner...
I think it is only unfair to compare them, s1mple has proven himself in a tougher esports that have been existing for over 20 years already, tenz played a game that has an esports scene since this year.
In sum, s1mple > most of csgo top players > tenz
S1mple loses
Faceit London Major 2018
ELEAGUE Boston Major 2018
PGL Major Krakow Major 2017
whilst in his prime
Tenz
Masters Berlin
Valorant Champions
S1mple choked more majors with his team than most teams in the CS scene 2nd to NA
TenZ is still new same with valorant, so you can compare these two in terms of loss, both were needed the most and they choked in big matches against the best teams in the world (Astralis for CS and Envy for Valo, also adding KRU due to brazilian esports being goated)
How the f is tenz the goat? How? Cned is obviously better. In terms of stats. In terms of achievements. Also acend as a team is much more promising than the entirety of the NA scene. It will only get worse for tenz btw. He is a very flawed player especially when you do more than one eye test to judge him.
TenZ and s1mple are both highly skilled players in their respective games, with TenZ being a top player in Valorant and s1mple being a top player in CS:GO. TenZ valorant settings
Comparing the two players is difficult since they play different games, but both are known for their exceptional aiming abilities and game sense.
TenZ is considered one of the best players in the North American Valorant scene, and he is known for his impressive mechanical skill, especially his aim and movement. He has consistently been a top performer in tournaments and is highly respected by his peers.
S1mple, on the other hand, is widely regarded as one of the best CS:GO players of all time. He has won numerous awards and accolades for his exceptional skills, including the title of the best player in the world in 2018, 2019, and 2020. He is known for his incredible aim, game sense, and clutch performances.
Both players have different playstyles and strengths, but they are both incredibly skilled in their respective games. It's difficult to compare the two directly, as they play different games with different mechanics, but they are both highly respected and admired by fans and players alike.
