Too western biased for me. Western better at desserts but Asian food owns. China belong to top 5 for sure, majority of asian dishes and techniques are inspired by China no matter japan, korea, or vietnam.
Japan is a bit overrated but could be belong to top 5 with Vietnam. The only western country could get in top 5 would be Italy or France.

Taste is not the only value of food, there's other factors to take into consideration, such as healthiness, this is why mediterranean food is topping the list. Because we use olive oil to cook, instead of nasty butter. Also, chinese or mexican food might be delicious, but the food is mainly oily and spicy (spice might kill the flavour)
The list is biased towards the west.
Western chinese cuisine vastly differs from the local chinese food or at least what people in my area would eat in their daily lives.
You say that the food here is mainly oily and spicy, but there are so many Chinese dishes that are steamed, so no oil is even used. And we eat vegetables like no others.
Dishes like general tso chicken, sweet and sour pork are more western than Chinese. I have never tried general tso chicken.
Sichuan cuisine, where most spicy dishes originate from, are decent in popularity in my area but it is something people would eat once or twice in a month.
I've been watching the youtube channel chinese cooking demystified recently and the dude's done an amazing job at capturing the breadth of mainland chinese cuisine, especially from province to province and in hong kong and macau. it really shows how little native chinese cuisine has actually made it to the west, but rather merely adaptations that cater more towards western tastes and ingredients
"healthiness" says the guy who lives on a country where their most famous plate is 5 kg of fried rice on a giant pan BRUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH also any potato or egg mixture plate where it is also fried/heated on a pan with oil calling it healthy BRUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH people tend to throw shit at mexican food because tourists dont eat housemade food, they obviously eat on the streets where the food is greasy because they arent going to clean the grill after serving 3 tacos its a waste of time, and even that way its healthier than most spanish food because atleast we use more than 2 vegetables on our meals (yeah you only use onion and tomato WOW HOW HEALTHY LMAO)
Cows are sacred there is a story attached to that! People respect muslims by offering halal products and pork jokes are not made in front of muslims. Somehow people wanna always joke about cow ! An absolute essential animal without which it was impossible to survive at least in our region. You guys can eat anything but why bring religious jokes? Raw fish is hated by many and raw meat is literally unhealthy according to doctor for humans.
Earlier there used to be droughts throughout many areas in Indian subcontinent. The historical significance is so much-
Whenever there is newborn at home a milk yielding cow is a necessity for nourishing, we have grown up drinking her milk and owe her as much as our mother ( no nutrient supplement was available earlier as in today's world, even hospitals were not there, cow milk would be the best package for growing children)
Milk is important as related to curing disease and strengthening body for sick people.
Ox plough our field for growing food grains. They have done the hard work to feed humans.
Dung along with leaves and hay combined provided an excellent manure to make our fields very fertile, there were family of cattles with each farmer. There were no discovery of nitrogen earlier by Habor, so fields were becoming very infertile.
Dung was used on soil floor as a plaster/binding/ soil cover material in most of the houses and grain processing fields before cement which prevents the soil stick to feet and grain getting mixed with sand and dust, ( the age where no cement was discovered)
After death the skin was used for leather
Due to such large contributions by an animal, the hindu mythology gave it the title - 2nd mother and we guys can never harm our mother.
But west instead of learning any background just made jokes.
Not gonna debate you which religion is right or wrong as
Our religion does not convert people
It is mentioned not as a religion but a way of life in Gita, where you dont need to be necessarily pray god, Atheist are very welcome to live this way of life. There are no set rules to attain the best.
3 it has no central doctrine. It is an amorphous collection of varied beliefs and you can believe in whatever you want, and still call yourself a Hindu. There is no good Hindu or bad Hindu,
Hence, even though I am not religious, nobody gives a damn. People let me be. I let them be.
When my relatives want to visit a temple, I go along but can wait outside when they are doing darshan, and nobody makes a big deal of it. I like that.
Still trying to work out where in what you started makes the cow sacred.
Milk curing disease is a myth, and is proven to be so. Infact the human digestive system being as it is, means we shouldnt actually drink or eat any dairy related products.
Comparing a cows milk to the milk from a mother is completely dumb, infants cant digest cows milk anywhere near as easily as they can mothers milk (see point above), and a cows milk doesnt contain anywhere near the nutrients required of a mothers milk.
I could list you all the reasons why a Bee is wonderful, and the fact that its literally one of the main reasons we have Oxygen on this planet, due to pollination. Doesnt mean you wont not eat its honey now will it.
As for saying "the west instead of learning, make jokes", im from Birmingham in England and i can tell you we are very accommodating of all religions and beliefs. My issue is when as a Christian country, (again im not religious in the slightest), we arent allowed to even use terms indicative of those religious holidays.
NAH NAH NAH you arent being for real peru have one of the largest amount of ingredient varieties on the world, and have won multiple prizes worldwide recently, on usa people uses bread and meat and ocasionally butter and cheese as ingredients and most of their cuisine is just that tbh ofc they have good food but greasy af in comparison to any other top cuisine contender worldwide even mexico has greasy shit but at least it tastes good with or without the fat excess if you eat something at us and it doesnt give you a heart attack it might not be that good. just look the calorie quantities of the most visited us restaurants and food places its because of their 10 pounds of greasy patties or deep dish pizza, forr me its ok if its top 10 but over france and peru?
Indian food has a lot to offer than the north Indian food which is similar to Pakistani food
almost each major Indian states have their completely different cuisines sometimes multiple in the same state
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_cuisines#Indian_cuisine this list isn't all inclusive either
