bros vibes so bad he got his stars revoked ðŸ˜
Good article from @LeaderGrev.
You could argue it's due to a variety of factors mentioned here, but I'd say it's due to both social and regulatory conditions. Socially, China is already a very large country/market and its gaming community at large is more insular for obvious reasons. And the regulatory regime on games are much more stringent and typically lend themselves better to Chinese-based companies (hence why Perfect World works with Valve for Steam China, Tencent operates PUBG in China, and NetEase formerly worked with Blizzard), which usually bleeds over to the organizational side for first-party esports.
it's mid, but it's the only anime with dr pepper in it so unfortunately it's 10/10
Yeah, Ludwig x Tarik was hosted at the Beyond the Summit house before BTS went bust
rip man
Sorry that I'm looking at Riot as a business that maximizes profit...
Well, I don't agree with the way you see things at all, but I really didn't think I'd be commenting seven times on VLR tonight... and I probably should've stopped at one.
All in all, this is Riot's decision. Leo does their bidding and takes the blame for it, just like right now. He probably gets paid pretty handsomely to do it too. :)
What? Are you like really bored or something? I don't think we actually disagree...
Shit job? His bosses probably think he handled it well. :)
That's irrelevant. Why would he be fired for doing his job?
My point is that Roger Goodell and Leo Faria serve the same purpose as "commissioner" of their respective leagues. The NFL is owned by their member teams, and the commissioner serves their interests. The VCT is owned in whole by Riot, and the commissioner serves their interests. They're being paid for a reason.
Do you actually think Leo has significant autonomy in how the VCT is being organized, when it mirrors so closely the systems Riot have put in place for League? He's made it clear that Riot view the VCT as the only professional league in Valorant, and this recent announcement makes it very clear that the VCT serves as a vehicle for Riot to maintain business relations with partnered/ascended organizations, not just as a league for players to compete professionally. Out of everyone, this decision benefits Riot the most, and that is its exact purpose.
Do you actually think Roger Goodell can't be fired? Who do you think controls the NFL?
This is like asking for Roger Goodell to be fired from the NFL.
but her aim is getting better
On a lighter note, it personally reminded me of ESG Tour Mykonos, which was actually a really dope event. Though, the "series" never saw any other iterations, so lol.
there's a lotta events man gimme a sec
pushed back due to showmatch; actual match time is TBD
Who Cars pulled due to visa issues and then disbanded outright, so polaris format was reworked with 3 teams

Benched bc organizers found out he was in middle school still
OpTic flair has been re-enabled. Will look into further options, but I can't guarantee anything.
That was the original intention, but that doesn't seem to be the case. We'll look into it.
FYI there's a likely chance that these flairs will return.
NRG are low due to an issue with cores. Once they play their first match in LOCK//IN, it should change to the original OpTic core, which has significantly more points.
unbelievably based
imo the "reduced fat" version is even better, but they don't sell that version directly to consumers :(
I've been watching the youtube channel chinese cooking demystified recently and the dude's done an amazing job at capturing the breadth of mainland chinese cuisine, especially from province to province and in hong kong and macau. it really shows how little native chinese cuisine has actually made it to the west, but rather merely adaptations that cater more towards western tastes and ingredients
Bitch, I can make "orange" rhyme with "banana" (Yeah)
Bornana
A lot of the best content in esports are those that don't involve the game directly but rather focus on the players.
I really wish we could see a Beyond The Summit-type event in Valorant; all of the side content and sketches of BTS events really make the event seem like so much more than just a competition. But, I doubt we'll ever see an event like that in the near future. :\
