How can anyone seriously entertain the idea that T1 NA is gapped by T1 EU lmao. Liquid wouldn’t even be top half in NA LCQ let’s be real. At the very least how do people think EU is a more competitive region than NA. NA’s rankings are always in contest, it’s A tier really big compared to every region. There seems to always be about 5 or 6 A tier NA teams at any given moment since Champs last year basically. Definitely can’t say the same for EU, who have basically only a competitive B tier fighting for rankings, and a A tier filled with about 3 teams max at any given moment

The fact that NA always has 6+ teams fighting for 2nd spot just shows inconsistency. While EMEA always has the same strong teams fighting who are actually good and consistent. OpTic feels like miles away better than rest of NA while could any day lose to top 3 EMEA. That doesn't show me competitiveness. Also half of the teams you think are "A tier" are actually B tier.
I mean, while EU used to have fewer top-tier teams than NA, looking at this LCQ, I think it has caught up. Like, I think any team in NA LCQ and EU LCQ could potentially achieve something at champs. However based purely on the peak of teams in both regions I think EU is slightly ahead, as only Optic has really been competitive on international LAN events lately (last masters).

NA is hyper competitive rn, personally I dont see the same in EU, its pretty stagnant to me but to each their own. If you WERE to combine the current LCQ's i think more NA teams than not would fall between Liquid and the top. comparing #1's in the regions ofc comes down at the internationals, but personally I think internationals in the scene's current state dont really matter for longer than 2 months and arnt worth more than opinion pieces. esp cuz eventually our CCP overlords will eventually take over the scene in rankings and finance; and teams/spectators will look back at these games in 5 years and wonder how players this shit won an international

You can't just call SEN's championship nothing, and then say yeah Optic's run is pathetic, while going on and saying yeah our championships matter way more because we think it is not pathetic.
When you look at it, NA and EU aren't too far apart, considering NA gets less spots at each LAN, have 2 championships compared to EU's 3 isn't too bad.
I unironically agree with your take. While NA (arguably) has a deeper individual talent pool, EMEA is able to compensate through better teamwork and tactics that most likely can be attributed to superior practice methodology.
optic were on track in terms of having EMEA levels of improvements that can be achieved through practice, but most likely got capped by lack of competitiveness in NA T2 scene. Therefore, partially explaining why they fell off in the last tournament.

dapr is still one of the best clutch players, i'll still take him over almost any of the ones in ur list, shaz is still a great igl, maybe have fallen off but cned fell off harder, tell me shroud's performance wasn't impressive for someone that has been back after 5 years of no competeing and minimal prep. neT is still one of the reasons why Guard made it to finals, some of this stuff don't show up in stats, if you would actually watch the games you'd realize Na has way more talent than EU, just not good team chemistry.

NA has around 130 million more people living there, therfore there will always be more talent. EU fans can be biased and think their players and teams are better, but NA will ALWAYS have more and better players than EU. and EU will have to try to work toghter as a team to beat that out

NA has 6 wins and EMEA has 9. We can see that at the beginning of valo NA seemed very good but EMEA definitly catched up. EMEA has 3 international wins and NA has 2 so its clear that EMEA is a better region but both are at least in the top 3 regions when it come to valorant in my opinion.

Premier League other than City and Liverpool, all of the teams in the league on any given day can beat anyone.
However, Real Madrid for example have won the biggest prize more times in the past 10 years than anyone else.
Just because youre region has more depth, doesnt make the teams better on the big stage.
