I haven’t been paying much attention to the Americas region as a whole, but why is Brazil seen as a weaker region compared to South Korea?
Both regions have won a world title and have the same amount of teams in their respective legue, although one seems to be dominating their region whilst the other is struggling to have even one Front-runner.

-Lack of talents?
-Talents scattered?
-Passion?
-Cronyism?

Nepotism I swear even if it works out it's so obvious players are recycled 24/7 and rebuilds are very rare in Brazil

Isn't that the problem with FURIA/LOUD?

I do think Brazil is better than most SK talent but our biggest weakness is probably the lack of good IGLs. All aim no brain.

Hoping v1nny can change that.

South Korea has goated work ethic and passion though if any region falls off for a second they're taking over valorant too

Brazil is not better than sk at talent atm, we can go band for band with the talent, only aspas and less can compete

Brazil actually is better than South Korea, but the local we live makes us look weaker.
It's called Abbinghaus effect, when 2 things wich has the same size (or bigger), but is surrended by bigger or smallers things, will make they look respectivly diferent.

SK is from pacific, the weakest, BR is from Americas, the strongest.

its okay to be biased but not delusional. You guys lose out to latam an underdeveloped region all the time we are not the same.

Sorry but this is just sociology, not my opinion, just science.

Both regions have won a world title and have the same amount of teams in their respective legue, although one seems to be dominating their region whilst the other is struggling

He asked why, I explained why, simple as that.

IMO it doesnt have anything to do with the competition you guys are surrounded by but instead the own mismanagement of your own orgs. + the work ethic gap and determination between west and east pros. That work ethic part is so undervalued by fans. People dont understand korea went through a lot to reach where they are lol. Brazil doesnt seem to make the same sacrifices as them so Im not surprised korea surpassed them quick.

Also, this is one of the reasons that, if u watche some pro analysis of someone who have higher rank than u, (A radiant analyzing a Immortal). U might get youself thinking "I'm better than this guy", "I could do better".

The truth is you couldn't, you think like this bc his surronding (9 Immortals in game + a Radiant showing his mistakes), makes him looks small.
But if was a immortal in a smurf being analyzed by a gold, he would look like god and u would think "He is hacking", "The best player in thr world".

This is because it's not actually a valid comparison in terms of regional position.
The Americas country equivalent to SK is US. Both have 45% player stakes, home stadiums, and Riot branches (Americas - Riot HQ, PAC - Riot Korea) that control the other subregions and organize the leagues.

The APAC equivalent of Brazil is Japan. But this is fucking preposterous!
It's a ridiculous comparison. The subregion structure of the two leagues is not the same.

If you're talking about pure skill and not league structure, we should just watch the real game.
