i think the narrative that nightzx was pushing about him screensharing and paying them is a bit over the top icl.
are they very obviously not trying their hardest? definitely yeah. but im pretty sure its on their own free will, a lot of them are viewers of mooda or active in his discord, and one of then was his mod too.
to put it this way, if you were on your alt and Qd into your friend and they were on their rank up im pretty sure 95% of us would throw.
is he still at fault for acting like this wasnt happening? definitely. is the mastermind of this and deserves to be egregiously punished? definitely not.
regardless at least it got us that golden shanks stream and at least he doesnt care about ending first so the people who were affected wont have to deal w it anymore
he definitely could have paid them, we have no idea about it.

swarm and traded are not mooda viewers, they're ranked players, maybe he didn't pay them but he must have atleast said something since their trackers are shameless.
no way they were getting the same players over and over and over for like 10-15 games even after mooda hiding his screen for around 20 mins per queue, we also don't know about the mastermind for sure but i don't know how you are so sure about this not being planned, it may or may not be planned.
also poppin wanting to dodge when he had a thrower on his team and mooda asking poppin to "trust him, we win this game" is crazy when the thrower is universally accused by all top radiants
swarm and traded weren't even duoing and still ended up together in those games with his mods, it's like 6 players in a game repeatedly carrying mooda when they're on his team and going 7-23 on his opponents team.
im assuming you didn't watch the whole stream, cause there were hella more proofs and suspicious moments
