That time to prepare an event, and schedule is important.

EMEA went in Toronto with prep time disadvantage and did meh in Toronto, they didnt had disadvantage in EWC and did amazing in EWC
China went in Toronto with prep time advantage and good in Toronto, they had a huge prep time disadvantage in EWC (Split 1 start before EWC on different mapool) and did horribly in EWC

Same mapool as Toronto 3 week to prepare for everyone is enough, it's not enough to rig it, plus playing against the best team in the world 3 weeks before a tournament is kinda perfect, your schedule is not too tight and you played against best in real condition

Nope because they did play those team like 10 days before wish is too short to prep and on a different mapool (Against 3 week in EWC case on the same mapool), and it's team they usually play and that is slightly less good than top Toronto team

Wait, it seems it's also 3 week in case of EMEA, my bad, I thought it was less, but yeah Amer and China got 5 weeks, I suppose the game changer is is the fact the mapool didn't change, 3 week isnt enough to prep a change of mapool while 3 weeks is enough just to mental reset when the mapool doesn't change

Why are we still talking about prep time? The matchup happened after EMEA regionals finished so everybody literally had the same amount of time to prep for their opponent. If anything teams that rely on Tejo needs the time to prep comps but TH didnt have comps that used tejo.

In Toronto the challenge was not "prepare your opponent", the challenge was "How to adapt to the meta/mapool", some region got 5 weeks, while EMEA got 3 week, and god, so mush work to do...
