Paying someone off to skip military is pretty cringe. Those of you saying Singapore doesn’t allow corruption, live under a rock. Even if jingg is physically unfit, which I think he is. He’d just be put to do admin work, which if he couldn’t do, there’s no way he could play Val professionally. Professional Valorant is probably more draining than what admin work would entail.

Typically, it's either a mental disorder or a physical disability that needs constant medical check-ups. Even then, it also depends on how immediate that medical check-up is since my friend, who is legally blind from keratoconus and is also battling with hyperthyroidism that also needs a constant medical check-up but is not in immediate danger if missed, still manages to get enlisted to do administrative work

I think the mandatory military service is bad for Jinggg and bad for Singapore (personal opinion) but saying there is no corruption because its the 5th least corrupt country is like saying there is no crime in the 5th safest country. There is no poverty in the 5th wealthiest country. I want to believe that Jinggg won his career back fair and square but still.

Just because he has a lot of money and likeness doesn’t make him better than the next person, he should have to follow the rules. This thread is incredibly cringe. You don't know what Jinggg is going through. Assuming that he/his family paid the government off is ill-willed.

Are you a doctor with comprehensive knowledge of every possible medical condition to know with absolute certainty that Jinggg doesn't have a condition/combination of conditions that prevent him from military service but allows him to play valorant? You're not.

I personally have a suspicion as to the combination of conditions preventing Jinggg from serving, but I'm not going to speculate out of respect for him and his family. It is perfectly understandable that he wouldn't want to tell the world. I have family members who have complexes about their conditions and would go so far as to deny them rather than get the care necessary to alleviate them. Unfortunately, the reason for this is there are people like you in the world who call conditions "fake" when not explicitly stated and/or make fun of someone for their conditions.

Have some decency.

And the combination of conditions argument makes no sense. Admin work is essentially just sitting at a computer and moving around occasionally to hand off papers/files. Yes he can. There is a very simple condition which could prevent him from doing so but allow him to play valorant. You can see signs of it if you look hard enough. Judging from the replies in this thread it makes me think most of his fans are either 14 yo or never experienced real life. Corruption is real in every country, it's just that some countries are better at hiding it in compared to the rest. Altho I'm happy for Jingg it is kinda unfair to the others who can't afford to bail themselves out from the service.
