Platchat guaranteed

posted 16 hours ago

Benkai and PRX are outliers, can't really use them as examples because they just do different stuff and it works

Platchat curse might strike....

Surf looked great in his games ngl

Yes
Holy fuck, I love team secret

He's been really away from PRX for quite some time, and now that he's coming back, he needs to gel with the team just as PRX is changing up their comps. Something has been playing a lot more Gekko than Reyna, which I think would put more pressure on him as the primary duelist now.

What you say in the second paragraph makes sense, but it's not a meta issue, it's role or agent issues, at least for yay and demon1. At the same time, it's also many other things, such as team synergy and how prepared the team is when dealing with executes as a whole. You can be an awesome raze but if your team doesn't set you up to entry and you just go in alone you're just gonna die without getting traded.

PRX (my flair I know) just went ahead and play reyna and harbour on bind/ascent, those obviously aren't meta comps but they made those work last year. Zeta decided to pick up chamber for LCQ last year and Laz's chamber helped them go on a run to play in champs.

One way is like what you said, change roles to support your teammate, OR let the star players play a comfortable role/agent and let the team play around them. Yay could let Deryeon play Raze, but he was horrid as a flex player in kick off, he looked very lost when he was on skye and viper (when Deryeon was on duelist). Now that he is back on duelist, at least he's definitely more comfortable, even if he's not performing (he did get 2 aces on split 1 though)

Estrella was replaced with 2GE against GE because he was sick, can't expect the team to play together with a sub so suddenly. That being said, RRQ always wakes up against GenG. They always have 2-1 close games

posted 2 days ago

GenG and RRQ always had close matches ever since last year, alot of 2-1 with 11-13s. RRQ will somehow always wake up against their rival, and this time they finally won. Happy for them.

posted 2 days ago

PRX only obstacle has always been themselves. Need to get rid of that thing in the throat to finally win a trophy

posted 2 days ago

The PTSD man. Still need PRX to at least get through playoffs, though. Trolling (optional) is still there

posted 2 days ago

It's just that texture's highs this split has been really very high, he's farming so many highlight reels with his incredible plays. People tend to remember the more recent stuff easily.

We gonna choke again fr

While Monyet really got fired up towards the end of Madrid, their run could have went very different if Jinggg had the time to stick with the team all the way during off season.

posted 4 days ago

Not PRX fault they force a Jett player to play Raze

posted 4 days ago

Uh... you put PRX and then proceed to talk about Yoru (PRX the first team to show how viable he is in pro play) and Raze....Jinggg? Hello???

posted 6 days ago

See an opponent? Doesn't care just duel a 1v1 and win

posted 1 week ago

Ggs TS looked like they were ahead every time, also Asurai got that script

posted 1 week ago

TH was frying with their aim, PRX almost threw a 4 v 2, then when Monyet clutched that it was joever for TH

posted 1 week ago

PRX as content creator man is MVP

posted 1 week ago

They got back ardiis who probably has more chemistry with the core given the deep runs back in 2022, I see that as an improvement. I don't watch too many EMEA games but Navi played alright in international events last year though no?

posted 1 week ago

I wanna see PRX get their revenge against Navi

posted 1 week ago

Seeing him play in Bleed he honestly ain't that bad, he managed to get 2 aces (albeit not against the strong teams) but his team just....sucks. I was excited to see how Bleed would perform in franchise after they won ascension, but the decisions made so far by the org are just disappointing.

Putting yay on flex for kick off, and then after their poor performance kicked their IGL and top fragging sentinel player? Like seriously? We're not here setting up yay to make plays, and the answer was to swap players? Then after we put yay into duelist we are STILL not setting him up properly?? Like hello???

posted 2 weeks ago

So you agree there were some strats and util combos, you can't say there wasn't any (like what you wrote in the original post)

posted 2 weeks ago

They actually had some decent lurks/defaults, and flash combos...? Not saying it's always successful but there were attempts

posted 2 weeks ago

Took me a bit to realise you're writing what the haters are saying

posted 2 weeks ago

To the people who talk about champs 2022 and lock in, it's for VCT pacific, the only other team that comes close to being as consistent is DRX.

The reason why PRX haven't gotten a trophy yet seems to be just mental issues, maybe it's the pressure, but they overcook comps and just don't look like peak PRX everytime during grand finals. The trolling gets cranked up to the maximum when it matters the most.

As a fan I've just decided to keep expectations low, just enjoy their matches where they do outrageous plays that make Pansy go "I can't believe it!"

posted 2 weeks ago

yep he did mention it was because he was replaced, that he decided to retire.

posted 2 weeks ago

If Alpha group teams suck and dont get 2 wins they won't make it to playoffs, so maybe there might be a chance more teams from Omega is getting into playoffs.

posted 3 weeks ago

They are too good for us mortals

posted 3 weeks ago

Was so excited to see surf come back as he was Xerxia's duelist, but I see now he's fitting into the sentinel role so well. His lurks on Icebox was insane

posted 3 weeks ago

He actually had to serve army iirc, but bullet dodged I supposed.

posted 3 weeks ago

They went from solo viper bind to solo harbor on icebox :)

posted 3 weeks ago

They should have put yay on duelist from the start in Kickoff, Deryeon was comfortable with flex since Kickoff. THEN Egoist, their top fragger, got dropped for Retla the one on pi watch

posted 3 weeks ago

Crazyguy and Egoist died for this??? Yay wasn't that bad tbh, he wasn't great, but Bleed just didn't look at good in general strats wise

posted 3 weeks ago

Should be I suppose, Lenne didn't seem to have impact last 2 games. I'm excited to see Surf back in tier 1, he was pretty cracked on Xerxia, but that was as their main duelist/chamber during chamber meta. Maybe they will run double duelist and ban gonna be the permanent initiator?

posted 3 weeks ago

Classic, the openings by LMC are bangers too

posted 3 weeks ago

We still don't know how he got out, and it is really difficult to be exempted, but as somebody who served I don't really care. It's going to be so much better for him and the val eSports scene if he gets to play for another 2 years.

posted 1 month ago

Doubted Monyet at the start of kick off, but I'm a believer now after he got those 2 Aces in Masters Madrid. He can get so much further throughout the year

posted 1 month ago

Yeah maybe I was too ague but when I wrote the first fight I meant his mixed form, just disappointed that it didn't really result in anything. Cheers man, and thanks for the taking the time to reply.

I'll write out what I feel, do feel free to keep the discussion if you agree or disagree with my points. Spoilers below:

New bankais, yes, and they were mostly very cool, but they did not land decisive blows against the opponents - except Renji's and Rukia's. The top sternritters were kinda defeated, but at the same time not really. The poison guy always had a new trick up his sleeve, and the manga never wrote if those fighting him got out successfully, including Neil who dived in. The sniper-turned-angel was defeated, but he just turned into some monster, and we saw a zombie Izuru appearing to stop him. This fight, too, led to nowhere. The valkyrie and Bach? They were written to be so unstoppable they needed to have dues ex machina to actually defeat them. That's just lazy writing with no proper resolutions.

Do tell me now who were the goated villains for you, the ones who were interesting to me at least, were Bazz B and Haschwalth (with their backstory) and Sternritter I (with his imagination). For me the rest were designed to be unique but they weren't developed too much.

I'm not sure what you mean by Ichigo's acceptance, if you don't mind explaining more. For me the issue I had was Ichigo's bankai's final form. After everything you're telling me THAT was his final form? After all the training and power ups he went through to get stronger? His first fight against Bach was cool, heck even his second one was too as well, I really enjoyed reading those weekly as the chapters released, but the lack of consequences because Bach was so OP just made the efforts feel hollow - made even worse with the dues ex machina.

Nah this arc's the worse on in bleach besides the fullbring one. Flashy fights but no proper resolutions (unless the anime fixes it)
