For all 4 Chinese teams to be in playoffs.

Hear me out, EDG look like they will beat G2, FPX has a massive chance of beating both SEN and GENG with the way they’ve been playing, only problem is Billy but I think that opening game was completely on nerves since they looked better in Chinese playoffs.

posted 2 months ago

Well Billy Billy heard fns was coming back, Edg couldn’t let people keep smack talking them, biank realized it was champs again and locked in, and fpx is fpx still

posted 2 months ago

Fraudnatic got smacked around by drx, TH barely won when 3/5 of the GenG players were having an off game (texture included btw hes their carry), and the rest got smacked around by china

posted 2 months ago

Well so far so good lmao

Fns are you okay?

posted 2 months ago

Bros champ form has one of the most aura in china, 100% playoff rate in back to back years on two different teams. Bro is something else

posted 2 months ago

China haters where 🤣🤣

posted 2 months ago

Well I mean if a top seed lost to a third seed they would be put on fraud watch no matter the region no? Don’t use china as an excuse for this.

posted 2 months ago

I think the players on both teams are playing extremely well and disciplined, not only that but all of them have a bunch of agents they can flex around. It would be good if one of those teams in group D could learn that too!

posted 2 months ago

+Leo +Patitek would make a top 10 team itw

posted 2 months ago

I would love to agree with this but gotta shit on the haters for a little bit. Americas only has g2, Emea’s fnc just got shit on by drx and only TH is good rn, geng lost to TH (played badly so excused), while china has 3 well performing teams.

posted 2 months ago

Every region hopping on the china bandwagon right now kekw after shitting on us for this long. Maybe other regions don’t deserve those 4 spots at champs.

Something called loyalty to a team due to culture or playstyle? Why would you have a connection to a team you don't support or dislike how they play/players on that team?

posted 3 months ago

Not exactly the goal for all pros is to make as much money as they possibly can since Esports isn't the best industry. You never know what happens with tier 1 teams like how some teams like C9 have issues with money and might lower the salary over time while in tier 2 especially with a rich org that probably won't happen and in tier 2 there won't be any issues with replacing people most of the time.

posted 3 months ago

Not even only during voice comms lmao the casters at Shanghai were laughing their asses off when Boostio was going ham on the enemy team (pretty sure playoff FUT match) because they were doing so bad, surely the people on 100T wouldn't want to play with Boostio because he was just absolutely shitting on the enemy team right? That's bad professionalism. Also you never know what is in the chat room when a live game is playing, the only time that I can recall this ever being mentioned was the example I said above which is just funny considering 2023 EG was way more toxic and the chats were never shown. Its almost like these people can be toxic in game and no one can see it but yet their teammates still play with them.

posted 3 months ago

I can see how I kind of said that you need to throw slurs to build team chem which wasn't what I'm going for but you're saying that people need to be hella professional inside the match too which is just incorrect which is what I'm trying to prove wrong.

Also don't use PRX as an example bro lmao, these two teams are on completely different sides of the Earth and NA is also known to be extremely toxic so Sinatraa doing this isn't something new lmao. If you look back at Demon1 bro was mad shit talking during matches and also this year its known that Boostio was mad shit talking in the chat of live games as well. Guess what them doing this didn't bring down the team chem did it? I mean surely if people playing with Boostio or Demon1 would surely get mad and never want to play with people who constantly call the enemy team shit and to never play the game right?

posted 3 months ago

What you said is half correct but also extremely wrong lmao, the argument is "team chemistry" how are you gonna build team chem while acting like professional workers? At the end of the day people should maintain some professionality inside and outside of the game but inside the game it doesn't matter and should be treated as just a group of friends nothing more lmao. If you think that a VCT team should be only professional then you're looking at a team that's most likely to fail, just imagine if people on the teams couldn't joke around or make jokes that would be considered "unprofessional" where's the team chem or fun in that?

posted 3 months ago

You say this shit like you're on the team LMFAO, if you befriend your team you can have a good time no matter what you say, that's why a friend group could be saying the most diabolical stuff ever and still be having an amazing time. Don't try to chime in and say what you think other people should be doing, just makes everyone robots and this "team environment" shit is no where to be seen.

posted 3 months ago

The ones that I think are the most important to the game if they make tier 1 (basically will bring in more people into the game and benefit the game long term not who are my favorites to win)

CN: Basically any team they all Chinese
Pacific: JFT (brings in OCE which is basically an unknown region because they have no slots in the Pacific region)
EMEA: Falcons (brings in all of the middle east which once again has no team in EMEA currently)
Americas: Basically any team would bring in more popularity into the game for that region.

posted 3 months ago

If you want to put a lot of time/have time to spare that you can't use then SB is a good game to play because it feels hella rewarding after doing stuff. But if you don't want to spend all of your time and don't have much money I wouldn't recommend going back.

Probably been the worst year ever can't lie

  • horrible ass formatting, fire this person who made this formatting
  • horrible ass scheduling, like you win masters and only get a week to prep for the next match?????? fire this man
  • horrible ass map, there's a small majority of people who actually enjoy abyss and thats because they are playing it themselves and not watching it in pro play. The map is so bad, concept is good but horrible design.
  • horrible champs song, probably the worst one so far even 2022 was better than this one and people disliked that one so much.
  • horrible champs skin, I don't think anyone likes the phantom the knife looks cool tho.

If he recovers then he would be a great pick up for many teams even as an import (KOI) only problem is his condition is really extreme so idk.

Its actually the opposite way around lmao APAC is lucky that China wasn't merged into their region because when rito made franchising they were looking for the most popular/rich organizations that could participate in that region. Now comparing the APAC orgs to the Chinese orgs which one has more money? Easy answer, Chinese ones. So if China was forced to be in the APAC region then it would be like the Americas situation where there's going to be more Chinese orgs than any other subregion org (except for possibly T1 in terms of hard cash).

From what I've heard from my Korean friends the two languages are hella similar in grammar which makes them easier to learn and speak basically.

posted 3 months ago

Not defending anyone in this situation just wanted to answer the question as a general relationship thing, there's a lot of reasons as to why people don't use condoms that if I shared here might get the mods angry so I'll just leave that to you to search up (just know that apparently its more "enjoyable"). Also know that him not "pulling out" is on him but there's basically no way you can prove if he intentionally did it or not but based on the OP I think that he didn't mean to do it as he tried to take responsibility afterwards as well.

posted 3 months ago

Isn't it ironic that its only been basically PRX fans bashing this topic and wanting to see something happen to the players AND THEN one of the prx player's GF talks about it and wants to see something happen without any hard evidence?

posted 3 months ago

That's not what happened lmao people were shitting on the skin before and after the release of the Potter video, only thing people were slightly hyped for was the knife skin so idk what loop you are in.

posted 3 months ago

It's all good shouldn't have expected you to be like a total lawyer and shi lol but yeah that's what I've been doing just waiting for a response, but after what DRX came out with whatever she's been saying just doesn't line up and seems like another case of false accusations and her just not knowing what she's talking about but let's see.

posted 3 months ago

From what I've heard the person said they were a minor but that doesn't line up with evidence that other people have found and people are saying that she was over 18 at the time of when this all happened. But she is younger by a bit than flashback (if he's even the alleged person).

posted 3 months ago

Oh I thought this would be like clock work for you since I thought you were currently in Korea lmao but all good. From what I saw the group thing is true but then again that could either be outdated or just completely false and just wanted to check in with it. I still think though that its true tho because like if you accuse a 3-5 person group and said someone in it did something really bad then it would be pretty easy way to avoid the defamation law while basically hinting who did it.

posted 3 months ago

Correct me if I'm wrong but if the group being accused is small enough then the Korean defamation law will still be taken place no? (5 person roster btw pretty small) I don't understand it fully but that's what I found from researching the law personally. So wouldn't that mean that the fact that she accused the DRX roster and is basically narrowing it down would result in the defamation law no matter what? So why is she still hiding it this deep into the situation?

posted 3 months ago

You don't have to comment or click on anything related to DRX that is your choice, there are more than enough posts that aren't DRX related and this is like a one time occurrence through the past 2 days (you can live through that no?). Also you engaging in these posts as well just completely contradicts what you said about "THEY ARE THOUSANDS OF MILES AWAY FROM YOU". No hate tho I understand its annoying seeing these posts.

posted 3 months ago

Answering it here or in the other post I created would be the best, also what you said has nothing to do with anything related to the original post (sorry if that came off a little bit aggressive). I was asking if you knew why she is still keeping the name anonymous as I would assume you knew the Korean law better than I do and most people here do and wanted some answers to that.

posted 3 months ago

Since apparently the user ButterflyEffect23 might be dodging my request on asking for an answer to this post I felt the need to make another one since I also wanted to talk more about the situation and what I thought about it. BTW the situation is not fully resolved just wanted to give my opinions on the matter and hopefully ButterflyEffect shows up to help answer the question on my last post so I actually get an answer this time and not get ghosted. While reading this just take it with a grain of salt there might be something incorrect with the entire matter so correct me if I get some stuff wrong.

From what I think: (as of right now DRX has already confirmed that nothing has been found so far so keep that in mind)

  • Timing couldn't be any better for someone that had a personal grudge on DRX or a member within the team that has recently found success finally on the big stage (apparently this happened during stage 1 and guess what DRX didn't find any success and the case was kept a secret)
  • The person accused someone on DRX for SA but after the official statement from DRX they back down and say that its a "moral issue" now instead of illegal actions.
  • The entire thing originally was done so the person who allegedly did it would be removed from the team (seems real convenient for someone to ruin DRX before they go into the most important tournament of the year no?) and not any legal action.
  • The person who accused the member of DRX has never stated a name despite being so deep into the entire situation (want some confirmation on this as I am not completely aware of Korea's legal system). Then again I did some research and apparently if you accuse a group instead of an individual person you can still get hit by the defamation law if the group is small enough (5 people team btw) so they will still get hit by the law ATP too (could always be wrong bout this please feel free to correct me).
  • The person keeps changing the story or making things up as shown in this post

Final statement is that the damage has already been done, if the accusations are true then the player gets removed from the team, if not then the team still has to deal with the thought of "is my teammate a criminal?" and also the fact that the players have the thought of "am I going to get charged with something that I didn't commit" in the back of their heads too.

posted 3 months ago

Well as small of a group as the DRX team is the law would already be placed no matter what no? I searched it up and I could be wrong about this but according to the law that if the team was small enough (5 people is pretty small) then the law would still be taken into action if someone was accusing someone of doing something as serious as SA as a part of a group and not individually.

posted 3 months ago

Yeah I was questioning what ButterflyEffect (the person who brought this entire thing up) about things like why the person kept keeping the name a secret/other actions as well since he apparently got into contact with them but I didn't get any response, just seems like another case of accusing someone because of their success to bring them down. Then again we never know so don't just jump to conclusions that fast.

posted 3 months ago

Apparently it's because of the defamation laws within Korea that prevents her from saying his name, but then again the hints that have been given to us are so bad that it just seems that she is wording things on the fly, but who knows could be her way of protecting herself but could be the opposite and she has zero clue what she is saying.

posted 3 months ago

I have to bump this again sorry mods tryna get an answer

posted 3 months ago

Bump since no response

posted 3 months ago

Oh all good I thought you were just reading my other posts and bringing them into the conversation instead of the original post.

posted 3 months ago

The convenience of this entire thing has nothing to do with the original post nor am I choosing a side to defend. Those were just thoughts that connected to what other people were talking about. I’m simply just asking ButterflyEffect why she hasn’t just straight up said who did it because he has been in contact with them since it would make the case much easier if they really want the removal of this player from the team. (Got one answer but hoped to get more).

posted 3 months ago

Yeah just seems way to convenient especially since this season has been ups and downs for DRX fans after the roster changes but then again we shouldn’t take sides on it just yet till a statement has been released.

posted 3 months ago

I can understand this but it’s just that the timing of the accusations couldn’t be anymore perfect for someone trying to ruin DRX and their chances at champs, the fact that this person just sounds like they have zero idea who they are talking about and are just making stuff up on the fly based on what’s given to them, and the punishment that they think this person should be given. Then again I could always be wrong about this since this situation is pretty serious if it’s true but that’s just what I think about it and because I’m also not Korean.

posted 3 months ago

Yeah I’m just waiting for a response from the higher ups but then again the damage has already basically been done. If the accusations are false then just imagine the players since not only will they have to have the thought of “this teammate might be a criminal” in the back of their minds but the players might also be worried that they will be charged with something they aren’t guilty of and pressure from the community.

posted 3 months ago

Before I say anything this post is not here to talk about the assumptions that have been happening with the DRX situation nor am I taking sides on the matter I’m just waiting for a response from the big dogs at DRX before accusing people.

I just wanted to ask, you recently made a post saying that you have came into contact with the person who started all of this and they said that the person who did this to them had already qualified for champs. Now reading this I was hella confused because this is the second time where the person didn’t try to pin the blame on anyone and instead tried to keep it anonymous which in this stage just doesn’t seem right. (I could always be wrong and there could be a hundred different reasons why the person didn’t just straight up say who did it but that’s just me).

Below is just thoughts that I had in the situation:

  • First is obvious the person might be embarrassed that it happened and didn’t want to expose the person despite it being already so deep in (from what I think pretty strange)
  • The person who made the accusations simply just doesn’t know who did it which would also be kind of weird because it would be pretty obvious no? There’s 5 people on the team.
  • Last one I could think of is the person literally doesn’t know what they are talking about, just created some random scenario in the hope of trying to take down a DRX member or just tried to bring down their mental (because of hatred or whatever).

Now I could always be wrong as I think I know about like 80% of the story and could have always forgotten something so correct me if I’m wrong.

posted 3 months ago

Its almost like thats the same case scenario with like 85% of teams not only because DRX dropped players lmao
