S1mon bringing up smoggy not training his aim as hard is kind of crazy since he is one of the best aimers in the world, S1mon is the one that needs to improve the most as he is their weakest link, blaming others for not training as hard as him when he is the one who needs to improve the most makes me agree more with the coach even though S1mon helped them win champs.
Where was it stated that S1mon was working hard?? In the tweets it literally states "It’s implied that S1Mon doesn’t want to put in this kind of effort and so he was benched." So no shit if Jieni7 is putting more effort into trying to become a better player while S1mon, the guy who needs to improve the most on the team, ISNT PUTTING IN EFFORT, then yes the coach can do whatever if their player isn't listening to them.
- EDG players then release full statements about the situation (TLDR: S1Mon is consistely fooling around in practice (on his phone), asking what he should do, being lost, not comming at all, not interacting with the team unless being asked to)
- Jieni (who I can back up as a hard worker, and supported by many popular streamers), was a duelist main but is praccing as other roles in order to help the team
Yes however that’s where the problem lies… you are asking someone to step it up in comparison to another person who has significantly more time on their hands… it’s not like two runners starting a race and one falls behind… it’s like one of those runners got a 3 mile head start and expecting the other runner to keep up with that. I have not problem with choosing the better aimer but that half assed excuse is lame.
I get it winning champs and all but this attitude and mentality aren't good enough for a pro team. He's pointing out others like smoggy, chichoo who just own others on LAN, he doesn't. This is definitely not a good look for simon and not sure if other teams would want to sign someone with this attitude.
I get that everyone likes to jump on the bandwagon against an org after they drop/bench a player, but I don't think EDG deserves backlash for keeping Jieni7 over S1mon. Fact is, Smoggy/Chichoo/Kangkang are irreplaceable players due to their raw talent and Nobody is the igl. If someone has to be replaced it's S1mon, and he was underperforming. If Jieni7 is a better player/harder worker on paper to them that's just what it is.
Welp EDG isn’t winning another champs again without S1mon, his util was literally godly in champs. But yes he’s cooked and not wanting to comm or bond with teammates is crazy. So far it seems like he is the issue. I wonder if there’s any racism or bullying going on (iykyk) but I don’t want to speculate.
thats totally fine.... lets say everyone is evil except simon on that team, right ? if thats the case, why is he trying to get back on the starting roster? all ur teammates hate u, and u still want to play with them ? that doesnt make sense, does it? whatver might be the case, the only solution to this problem is to leave the roster and try elsewhere ; if not, he might ruin his whole career
Yea thats why i said hes cooked. I just finished looking thru all the statements on weibo and the 3 of them are against him. And kangkang was really kind to him during champs and the members r known to be pretty chill especially nobody. But still aqua was pretty mean and not listening to s1mon in the dms. So i’ll wait for more info released before speculating. As of now its way too confusing to make any conclusion fr.
