neither of the grand finalists from last masters qualified for this masters

So? i get it might not have the same amount of hype as 12 or 16, but thats exactly the point: its different
if masters 1 and 2 were both 12 team with same format, it would be pretty much the same teams and the same matches (except americas, we inconsistant as fuck)
plus if anything it just means a higher percentage of banger matches
it will be a little boring + viewership is a huge factor for peer pressure, if nobody is watching then nobody is watching

i bet if 8 team masters continues to get low viewership they might do something

Its still funny given that everyone believes that these are the best possible teams we could've sent anyways (the actual top 2 of each region) yet kekw the small size of the event.
it won't be boring (unless it's a G2 game), it's just that I'm rooting against 75% of the teams that qualified rather than for the teams
i'm rooting for TE because they are fun to watch and also because fuck everyone's pickems, and also for TL - I am a Heretics fan so I wouldn't want to be swept and lose our spot to a team that will get 8th
i dont know it looks like heretics are busy playing other games. maybe fortnite ballistic?
PRX is simply ass they will be lucky to make any international this year. TH might scrape into Toronto and Champs but its hard to see them doing anything. GEN looks good tho but I still think they need a bit more time integrating Foxy9, TH and PRX have had plenty of time and that hasn't done much for them.

in reality crashies has been good for the team considering our position, but people just look at the stats and instantly start flaming him without even thinking
just unlucky that only 2 teams qualify from each region
you can be the 2nd best team in a region but if you have one off day in lowers final then its over
