i might get flamed for this but this is kinda dumb
why monitor what people do outside of the game
this is like being in a overly-controlling highschool (which i have experience with)
like if any popular streamer called their ranked teammate that went 2 - 20 a r*tard and riot decides to ban said streamer for it it feels restrictive
tbh idk what to think
What I hope (and think) is that it's not going to be enforced regularly, and that they'll only actually ban people in clear cut cases (take the N word for example).
But I don't like how in theory they have the power to come after absolutely anyone, since in some cases (like ardiis for example) it's pretty much subjective as to whether you think they're offensive or not
to be clear I'm still against it, I just don't think they'll back down
Slippery slope fallacy
You guys are way too doomer about this, Riot isn't stupid enough to do something like that, they just don't want people who are streaming their game to scare away sponsors. They're a company, it's all about the money, and banning someone for criticizing them would hurt their bottom line more than it would help.
Not saying this is a good change, but you guys are overreacting
