Absolutely bonkers. 2025 meta will be insane. Everything changed holy shit
Yeah. I still can't wrap my head around the regen shield thingy. Don't even know what I'm reading.
It's really hard to explain without seeing it but let me try my best.
You have the option to be 3 different kinds of shield: Half Armor for 400 cr, Regen Armor for 650 cr, and full armor for 100 cr. You can only buy one kind of shield. For the regen armor, you have 25 shield in your "active" pool, which means essentialy you have 125 hp, and 50 in your "reserve pool". If you take any damage, it goes out of your active pool. A few seconds after combat, if your active pool isn't full, shield from your reserve will enter the active and regen back to 25.
TLDR; You still have 25 shield, but it can regenerate back to 25 if you lose it
When does the patch go live?
Different for each region, NA already has it
Maybe I just don't think one-ways are the most valuable they stop people from pushing your smoke and let you (kinda) see past them also true it's a bit silly he gets the best of literally everyone range, stalling, only agent to have infinite dome smokes and can be aggressive and had one-ways exclusive to him something needed to go and they choose the exclusive one-ways I assume he can still do the ones on C-main in lotus and A-main on ascent though
Let me rephrase, I would rather they have changed a number value change than a system change.
When nerfing his blind or tp you are not changing the identity of omen, you are just changing the number values of his abilities. changing omen smokes to not be able to one way is system change that makes omen less omen.
I dont mind if they nerfed the range of the omen smoke, or made the recharge longer or made the travel speed slower, etc
When nerfing his blind or tp you are not changing the identity of omen
You are tho
Omen is not unique because of his one-way. He's unique because of his mobility and agressive controller style. All his abilities take part on this, but mostly his tp's and his blind. The one-ways were just being overused and made him way too strong of a controller, and most of them could still be done after the nerf, they're just controlling how much it could be abused.
His blind already got a pretty significant nerf last year and his tp is purely based on skill of the player. They were not being overused, and were pretty healthy, good enough abilities that are fine rn the way they are. There's no reason to change that, or the range and recharge of smokes, which are also pretty fine
