i played omen for my team and his ass was way too busted with the implicit space one ways gave you, glad that aspect is getting taken away from his ass

i think his blind has been pretty fine since they nerf the movement difference tbh but i was also not expecting nerfs on his smokes
although i understand because he has been pretty overused on proplay and he needs to step down a bit

from what i understood is like half shield but more expensive (650cr), it absorbs 100% of damage and heals itself if you disengage long enough

Hot take: omen wasn't nerfed as much as a lot of agents in the position he was in he's still an option but you can't just put him into every comp and smoke players actually need to bother playing more than 1 agent now

i agree, he's still very much viable, its just that he's not gonna be used on 80% of the map pool anymore (specially since astra got a great buff too), which is good because he has been the main smoker for too long

Maybe I just don't think one-ways are the most valuable they stop people from pushing your smoke and let you (kinda) see past them also true it's a bit silly he gets the best of literally everyone range, stalling, only agent to have infinite dome smokes and can be aggressive and had one-ways exclusive to him something needed to go and they choose the exclusive one-ways I assume he can still do the ones on C-main in lotus and A-main on ascent though

honestly this changes a bit of my opinion in some teams because i think some of them have omen as main smokes as a team dynamic and i dont think he will be the #1 priority on next year meta

he wasn’t really overpowered he just had one gimmick that made him the safe choice in every single comp imaginable, with the nerf his playing time will go down but he’s not gutted or unplayable, he’s still one of the strongest on his role

Like I said in #28 he simply has way too much given to him the nerf makes him less optimal but I honestly think you can still play him just fine on at least 5 of the current maps in the pool it's just a matter of how you smoke player plays

ts does not affect ranked at all, im in ascendant and i only go up against obscure omen one ways once every 100 games or so, it’s more of a VCT nerf

People hate any change ignore it and listen to opinions after the patch has gone live for a few days
