Riot definitely won’t sabotage an org that they have great history working with. So freeing chet is the best option here. (Johnqt and Chet is secretly working together so chet can be free and john gets his nuggies)

Scrim and VCT matches are different. Leaking scrims more common, Ray4c and Giansanity uses them for montage clips.

Riot cant do anything, They were able to get chet cause he leaked vods that riot has legal rights too. (tournament games) John "leaked" scrims which isn't property of riot, only thing that can happen is socially (EX. teams don't scrim with SEN) Riot themselves have no legal ground
Chet did not get suspended for showing scrims lol. He got suspended for showing the NRG vs SEN match with Riot admin comms + Player comms. teams are only allowed to use those for content with permission. Chet did not get permission. Scrims are entirely free reign and the only negative thing that would come from leaking scrims is the team would just blacklist you and you show your own comps.

Johnqt accidentally uploaded scrim footage that was meant to be privated . Scrim footage leaks is not a bannable offense since it’s not even vct riot related thing and that’s not why Chet got banned.
Chet got banned for streaming actual vct games with voice coms, observers perspectives etc provided by riot. Riot has warned teams ( which includes Chet since he had this footage when was on nrg) if they don’t seek permission they ain’t allowed to be published publicly which is exactly why Chet got banned he should’ve known better since he got warned. I assume teams that publish voice comms actually ask riot for permission so Chet should’ve known better.
This doesn’t compare to johnqt at all so you are braindead if you think johnqt should be punished
