Don't actually know about fnc but boaster did say Persia spanked them and chronicle asked him his aim routine so I'd assume they beat fnc?
Apparently johnqt also had high praise for spg but I read that off a post
And fayde (xlgs coach) said that spg were a tier above the other pacific ascension teams so it's safe to assume spg were smacking a lot of Chinese teams as well
I mean you cant really call the region china anymore
also politically doesnt stand too well
Riot right now lets the player choose whether taiwan is the ROC or part of the PRC
but adding a taiwanese team to a region called "china" with 8 other mainland chinese teams, well you can tell it wouldnt sit too well
Another problem is that OCE players would now count as imports in the pacific region
with all that I dont think its a route riot would even consider it
Well, we call T2 FR-Benelux France, even if they represent something like 30% of our population, we can still call it China if we accept one unique team that will need to have 4 OCE player to not be considered imports (Would be the only one allowed team to do that, and CN player would be considered as import) With that rule OCE player would still be not considered import in APAC
Oceanian player doesnt really have their chance in APAC (0 OCE player in APAC T1) because beside few exepetion, every team require to speak the language of their team, Malay, Japan, Korea, so hard to do a full English speaking team.

It would make so mush rivalry and hype, and technically some team have already a majority of TW player. DRX was historically a Taiwanese team, LGD just took the core of OF, and DRX was technically a TW team before they ascended. We walk on thin air here, but that's doable.
But I agree Riot will not probably take those rout, and thats really too bad because that would kill many bird at once
1.) The difference in the naming policy is the political aspect, saying a taiwanese org plays in "mainland china" isnt great
2.1) I would rather put an OCE and TW roster in pacific than in china. The unique import rule is way to messy and specific of a system, you pretty much are introducing OCE and TW as a new region that just so happens to have competition against china.
2.2) OCE and TW players would now be the only areas where they are allowed to play in two different regions and not count as import
2.3) If diversity is what you call for does that mean you want an African team in china as well? In my head adding TW and OCE to china makes just as much sense as adding africa to china
3.) All those things about taiwanese orgs and playerbase take place in the pacific region. A taiwanese player register themselves as either part of pacific or china, then they can only partake in that region. So if a taiwanese player chose pacific as the region they count as, they can only play in pacific and if they go into china or any other region they would be an import player. Meaning Riot does have a separation for the ROC and the PRC
4.) Is the taiwanese org in your hypothetical allowed to pick up all taiwanese players? or only the ones who believe taiwan is its own country and pick pacific as their region. Because that would cause massive problems as well
1) Region woulod be called China, not "Mainland China"
2.1) They are no place for OCE, we cant drop any team to let a place for OCE sadfully :/
2.2) It's already the case in TW technically
2.3) As far as I support Africa having a representant, we have to admit the PC market is not developed yet, How many african player play in China ? 0 ? How many Australian plays in China T1 or Ascenton ? Almost a full team (3 in T1 and 1 in asc), it's even more for Tawanese. Oceania is already a de facto a part of China because their best player plays in China and not in APAC, wish isn't the case for Africa. i wouldnt have proposed that if 3 of best Oceanian players wouldn't be in China.
3) I think they might be allowed to change when they want, if that wasn't the case, I'll doubt LGD could acquaire OF, and OF going back to TW next, if not that wouldn't happen
4) I don't understand the question, you can pick whoever you want among Taiwanese playr, regardless if they support independence or not (Keep in mind that Taiwan didn't declare their independance)

2.2) That is untrue, A TW player assigned to pacific, cannot play in china without being an import vice versa is true

I genuinely dont know. also are you in support for africa in america then? also india doesnt have a full PC market either, the only real reason we have any tier 1 india players is because there are indian orgs in tier 1 and they dont even have a majority of Indian players.

1) Even Liquid use "China" nobody use "mainland China" to describe this T1, absolutely no one
2.1) You cant drop 2 historic biggest clouted and successful team, and you cant do it for DRX that is Val historic team, Val is too big in JP to drop a team, they are no spots.
2.2 & 3) How do you explain OF --> LGD --> OF ?
2.3) I'm support for Africa to have their T2 first asap, they are not 5 african player that could do a team together, the only one I remember is litterally a part of MENA and not Subsaharia, and yes, I support MENA having a team in EMEA. Subsaharia is a mush more diverse region than Oceania, and doing an "African roster", would not make sense because of language barrier, Subsaharia will need more than ONE team, they will at least need a Franch-African team, a Nigerian team, a Swahili/EAC team, and probably an Austral african team, so yeah, when Africa will have enough infrastructure (more server,less ping), they could have enough good player, and when they willhave enough good player they will need a full brand new Tier 1 region really fast (Maybe mixed with MENA) GE is doing a huge mistake to pick short terme performance of foreigner instead of forming best Indian player to become best player in 4-5 years even if that mean ending last for the next 4 years. Thats why franchise are : long term plan.
4) Same residencies as China, but they have double residencies and are allowed to play in both APAC and CN without being consider as an import in both.
