"2025 we gonna have a korean roster. Full Korean." - Joe Marsh
If he wants to continue being a pro player, he should at least trying to get some trials with other team like rossy with C9. Also does this affect his KR visa if he changed org (employer?) When he join T1 it took him 3 months to get his VISA, missing the kcx event and TEN Global Invitational. 2025 season starts earlier pre sure, so teams have a shorter period to trial and sign new player.
The fact that Xccurate are suprised and depressed about the news probably the decision comes from the top brass (Joe Marsh) but not T1 the Valorant Division?. Maybe before coming back to Indonesia, T1 staff/coach said that they probably gonna try to run with him again next year on the roster while trialing a bunch of korean player. But T1 top brass decided to go full korean instead without relaying it to their valorant division first?.
Maybe but if so why Daeda not just tell Xccurate to go LFT right after the league end as Restricted free agent like Lmemore or Rossy?? seems malicious to hold back your player to explore his option while T1 has little to zero plan to play with him and instead going full korean?..
with this Xccurate has little to no window/time to get noticed by other Tier 1 teams as rumoured that most teams are already finalized their roster for next year.
Daeda at the time probably couldn't confirm about the domestic focus until the tryout for new roster happens. I remember in Neilzinho stream that he saw Sylvan at the T1 HQ during champs. Maybe the KR lesson Xccurate take would make a difference of him staying in the team or not. T1 did k1Ng dirty last year, signing him in offseason only to release him in december because k1Ng don't feel comfortable comming in english.
Feel like xccurate still have time to find new team, in spike talk alecks talk about returning to prac in start of October, maybe RRQ too since Ewok was hosting the pacific ascension.

I honestly cannot see Xccurate getting in into PRX. Who in PRX he gonna replace? Mindfreak? jinggg? davai? it does not make sense. looking at PRX now, they most likely stick together for another year with maybe some role changes here and there (something has been spamming initiator on ranked lobby for sometimes now).
and for RRQ, its makes more sense to sign Shiro from BME as he's a fragging IGL + the buyout from BOOM wont be as expensive as buying Xccurate straight out of T1.
I'm aware he was sick, the mods literally had to make the rule about not asking T1 roster cause everytime he had to clarify he feels "depressed". #15 pre much nailed it, because he feels very attached to the team. Also read #39, autumn wanted xccurate since 2023. Near end of the stream he played with a small streamer and having that accompany playing duo really help with his mood. The atmosphere was different when he was sick at the beginning, clarifying T1 roster to chat and playing with small streamer.
There was a world. Jinggg was leaving the team, they were looking at xccurate but he picked T1 because they called him first. There was an interview on it. Here's a comment translating that tidbit. https://www.reddit.com/r/ValorantCompetitive/comments/17rwd6n/comment/k8m1284/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button
Saddest part is xcc really was proud of being on the T1 roster. The other day in apac ascension showmatch he even wore the T1 jersey like a badge of honor.
XCC really seems like a nice dude. The role change and trying to IGL affected his performance in the end of the season. I still think he is solid as a player.
So a person who doesn't know how to play the game, relies on a person who pretends to be an expert, uses his expertise to identify a problem on the team, mysteriously finds the answer to all their questions of why they are doing bad and then kicks that back up to the person who has no idea how to play and that person takes it as gospel.
Esports is a dystopian landscape.
